Your words brought back the memory and atmosphere of a dramatic falls just north of Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales (which I\'ve never been able to find on a map susequently).
One of those marvels of nature with perpetual motion and clammour of noise.
Breathlessly awed indeed - unless you are ten years old and willling to get soaked.

Love the picture of a murmuration. Not sure that geese ever do this though. I have never witnessed a mumuration of starlings but it\'s on my list for when i start travelling again.
Great writing Fay. Unsure whether you saw a mumuration and the geese were just a pre - event or were the geese the main attraction. Either way i love your writing here all the more for having re-read several times.
