Good Morning Uncle Andy ~ Love Cavalleria Rusticana ~ just enjoying it *Home Alone* with my Morning Coffee. I am old enough (36) to remember the final decads of the 20th C. We had a *hopscotch* painted in the Primary School Playground and we all played *Ollies* with glass marbles (prized parrots etc) and *Jinx* with bottle tops etc etc. Technology has a lot to answer for. Angela & I love JIGSAWS but kids groan now if you give them one for a Present. At our Conference Centre @ Sizewell Hall in Suffolk we always have a 1000 piece *Jiggy* on the go and as many as 20 poeple often join in (spasmodically) in a W/E Retreat. TV & radio is verboten ! My initial task on the Jiggy is to complete all the edges and leave the middle for the Hoi-Poloi ! Thanks for sharing a *memory lane* ! Please check *The Solar System*

Thanks BRIAN πŸ§‘πŸ€πŸ’™

Yes - us two (and others) remember it well. We recall games from 11th Century too (1066). I was only playing darts when I said to Harold \'Look up, Sire\'.

Yes, so much more fun than playstation/nintendo and any kid passing by could join in. Boys would stop by and enjoy the sight of girls with their skirts tucked into their knickers playing hopscotch.

Did u play \'snobs\' too? That\'s the game where you have five cubes which you toss up into the air a foot or so and catch them on the back of your hand with fingers splayed... that was fun, though not so energetic as hopscotch. I wonder how those two got their names?

I think you\'ve given her the gift she was seeking, a way to memorialize her son. A bright shining star, now.
And your poem is emotional and heartfelt. Loved it, - Phil A.

BRIAN HERE ~ Thnaks for sharing the Liverpool FC\'s Awesome Anthem *You*ll Never Walk Alone* from Carousel. Best sung on the COP when the Reds are Winning ~ Awesome. My Dad tells me ~ when Billy Graham was in the Anfield Stadium in 1984 ~ He was in the choir (I was 9 months old). The Choir (1000 strong) asked Cliff Barrows if they could sing *You*ll Never Walk Alone* ! Cliff agreed and they changed the last line to *Walk on Walk on ~ with Christ in Your Heart ~ and You*ll Never Walk Alone* What Cliff & Billy & George hadn*t bagained for was the 40,000 in the Audience had all brought their Scarves (Liverpool - Everton - Tranmere - Chester etc) and they all joined in ~ AMEN ! Its reported that the COP needed a new ROOF !

Love the poem ~ Nature (GHIA) will fight back if man threatens to Destroy Planet Earth. Because HOMO TECHNOLOGUS has opted out of NATURE Food Cycles & Webs he has no natural Predetors and the popultion has quadrupled in the last 100 years (1920 = 1.8 billion ~ 2020 = 7.8 billion) so we live in overcrowded Megacities which require HITECH to survive and have almost doubled the Atmospheric CO2. This has caused Global Warming and is gradually destroying Planet Earth. So Nature has fought back in a very simple way ! A new & invisible VIRUS (CORVID 19) which will kill 1% of those infected ~ mainly those over 60 with other maladies. Before a VACCINE can be fornd & made available millions ~ will die. Meanwhile HOMO TECHNOLOGUS has ground to a halt and we are caccooned in our BRICK CELLS until 2021 & beyond. Angela (An NHS Worker !) & I (Housebound) expect to survive (because we are > 40) but we must be prepared to face *The Brave New World* and go back to Nature I do have an allotment @ the College and we now own a House with a Garden and Bicycles to face *APOCALYPSE NOW* Its the only time I wish I was 50 years older (86) ~ AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Brian & Angela πŸ§‘πŸ€πŸ’™πŸ€πŸ§‘

Such an inportant message youve conveyed today in plain words.
We didn\'t learn from a war to end all wars. We are a violent and selfish life form, but that is not unusual on this planet if we look at the animals.
Maybe we are deserving of extinction. Is our time passed and gone like the dinosaur.
Some of us will survive and find out.

See what happens when you provoke my mind with great poems like this one today?

A fien write Gold.
A rather \'fire and brimstone\' church did their bit with some published prayer helps. One ran: \'O Lord, who in your anger in days of old plagued the people for their wickedness....... yet have mercy on us\'.
There is the aspect of God\'s anger, I believe, but they overdo that side a tad.

Angela here - Thanks Uncle Andy - for a very apt piece of Cool Jazz very soothing ! My MANTRA - as a Physio - is to smile in the face of ADVERSITY and it really helps - especially with amputees - who need reassuring because they always feel less than WHOLE. Love the LIM - Brian (who is 1/4 Welsh) says they always have a hand in spooky things. I will be back on the front line on Monday - Massaging the bed ridden Seniors to maintain their circulation ! Please pray (to your Spirit) for my Protection. I can assure that I will be smiling all day - but NOT LAUGHING !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

For a poetic old timer
there\'s really nowt finer
than to rhyme
what the wind
blows from China

now that the world has gone viral
it\'s knocked us for six in the payroll
and left us quite hopping
at the state of our shopping
how deep will we go down this spiral?

now we\'ve got Boris elected
we hear the poor buggers infected
he cant have a hug
from his gal in the club
no wonder he looks so dejected

look ... do you see what these limericks do to me?.... you\'re as bad as that M.E. fella gettin me going like this

Oh lol - light relief in these times.
I told an awful joke - it\'s evil if I really meant it:
\'How do you get rid of Jehovah\'s Witnesses these days?\'
\'Just open the front door and cough!\'
Someone actually had them call on them in this crisis.

BRIAN HERE ~ Thnaks for a very apt but poignant Video & Poem to underline the gravity & rising death toll due to COVID 19 ! It can only get worse before it gets better. Togetheness Isolation has been no problem for Angela & I in our first week of married Life in Casa Nuestra ! However I am concerned for Angela who is due back on *General Nursing / Physio* on Monday Morning !

The Lament *He Lived Alone ~ He Died Alone ~ He was Buried Alone*
is so so tragic ~ but alas it is echoed Worldwide.
We didnt get the Wedding we wanted but our loss
was nothing compared to his. Thanks for caring.

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

With age comes a myriad of blessings and trials but one rare quality is given to a few of us. Being seen to be noble by others. There is no price to it, no route to it, it is there or not there. Maybe it is rare because he/she who sees nobleness is rare also.
