Nice writing Andy, seems it\'s a day for Riverside walks and poetic reflections. The moon was shy or you were up much earlier! A peaceful read thanks.

Wish i had a nearby river. The Severn is a bit of a jaunt away through the city. And of course, your being an inch or two east of me, mornings are earlier for you too.

Nice sunrise pic. Now you need to get on photoshop, or Gimp (freebie) if you don\'t have photoshop, and sort out that contrast between the sky and land. It\'s always been a disappointment to me that film or those digital CMOS thingies dont have the bandwidth of the human eye.

BRIAN HERE ~ Good evening Uncle ANDY ~ very droll ! We drive a VAUXALL MARIVA which is built for Seniors & we use it as Gerry Ferry ! Because I work in Education & Angela in the NHS we aggreed to buy Cars that are mostly built in the UK using UK components. A few of our Friends ~ who work in Industry have Firms cars ~ some BMWS & MERCS. They are nice people but their *wheels* do cause them to drive a bit arrogantly. Material things ~ Salary - Apparel - Houses - Possessions - Status etc do influence the way in which People behave ! A Mans life does not consist soley of his possessions it is his character that counts !
Love the Video ~ sounds just like my Dads old Cortina !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela Brian Smokey ! ! !

oh the duality of humanity, see I crave to cry Amen to your potent commentary Andy, but then my childhood was cushioned by a pillow of BMW\'s M3 dreams and I remain: unashamedly, a junky for all things with four wheels - imbued, with a pedal of freedom and escapism within speedometer\'s of invigorating aliveness...

Hahaha and a bounder too boot, most likely. Yes it is strange how such a posh car doesn\'t have working indicators. It\'s a funny meme I look for if I\'m down. Feeling useless or without purpose I get a lift by imagining the guy fitting indicator switches to BMW\'s and what a meaningless, worthless job he\'s got! A good laugh thanks

I know the feeling only too well. A little while ago I was driving along a single track road out of our village when I was confronted by a 4by4 - it was obvious she wasn\'t going to back up even though I had to travel in reverse about three times the distance she would have had to. When she went past me not even a thankk you or acknowledgement - mind you I do drive a lowly Quashqai .

Tally-ho and all that rubbish!
Have you had soakings from fiends who deliberately splash you in the in their cars in wet weather?

On one level you are spot on, Andy. If life’s a misery, apparently not working out, static - then a little analytical introspection and a resolve to try something different, explore other possibilities will result in a stronger human being. Why await a savior, who might never appear or come with their own set of problems?
If, however, the abjection felt is extreme, then professional help may be indicated.

Take it easy, Dave

Absolutely right. It\'s pointless looking for someone else to do that although it is a mistake most people make. And somehow a lot get away with it.

Angela here - Good Afternoon UNCLE ANDY thanks for showcasing JOHN WILLIAMS his recordings are always emotional. He is one of the most accomplished Classical Guitarists in the World. We heard him recently and He is still as fluid as ever - even in his late seventies ! Brian always aspires to play like Him ! Jim Reeves love songs always make me emotional as does other music - it just does !

Some times we may be more emotionally sensitive than at other times.
I mean - that mistletoe poem I did - must kiss Manageress - caused me to go dead, numb, totally insensitive! Or when I turned up in 1066 (lol).
Things like anxiety, being on edge, jittery, nervy, may contribute to our emotions also. Not meaning we are nervous wrecks though!

But i get blank looks when i venture out, which is quite rare these pandemic days. Is it because I\'m wearing a mask or because they are?

It\'s really great being able to be free enough to exercise free choice once one has cast aside the indoctrination of things like christianity which seeks to control peoples minds. We see the OCD (the opposite of freedom of choice) christianity can create regularly displayed here on MPS.
