Good write Gold. So are people going the wrong way on some one-way streets. Can\'t they read, or at least see the arrows on the pavement? It\'s a waste of paint, as some take no notice. And WE get the dirty looks for going the RIGHT way.
If you say \'It\'s one way, mate\', they will say \'But I am only going one way.\' Doh!
Oh well, all doing what we can to reduce Covid - not!

ANGELA here - Good Evening Uncle Andy - Thanks for sharing Claire de Lune on harp - even more haunting than on Piano. It was one of the first Classic Pieces I mastered on Piano and it always sends shivers down my Spine! Brian & I have moved a long way (always FORWARD !) since we met Four Years ago. We take your advice on *GOING BACK* and our Friands experience also tells us that it is normally very disappointing! At this POINT in time we are only *GOING FORWARD* - AMEN!
BLESSINGS & PEACE to You & Yours

Unable to contest the wisdom of your words here for with me they are heartfelt.
The music of Claude Debussy first came to my ears upon the electronic sounds created by Isao Tomita and his initial LP was outstanding. It took me into te world of Debussy music and onwards. Debussy remains a firm favourite and is so inspiring and truly able to take me places both happy and sad...... but with such grace.

How many times to we try returning only to face great disappointment. Like going back to the place of our youth, or returning to an old school, or even returning to the place of your honeymoon, only to find they are no longer as remembered.
One foot in front of the other, straight ahead. Never look back. - Phil A.

I have to agree, based on my experiences
like with hindsight - attempting to regress our steps in life seldom rewards us with anything concrete or worthwhile
usually rendering us more hollow and ever more entwined in the should-a, would-a, could-a\'s of our past,
you have shared a thought provoking nugget of valuable wisdom with this write

Good write Gold.
A church did a sort of \'dance\'. It seemed symbolic of their progress. It was two steps forward, and one step backwards, repeated over and over.
A rather shy Vicar had an eccentric leaving Service. Two savage African warriors appeared at the end. He seemed embarrassed by it. I felt I was in Cuckoo Land, not in church! ( I couldn\'t make this up! lol),

My ears were assaulted by that live performance of ELP. I didn\'t like it LOL. But each to their own, it\'s art after all - personal taste, there\'s no \'best\' or \'good and bad\' in art, it\'s all expression.
You certainly gave us a tour around the exhibition.
I found this on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1pk1MzX61Q and found it gripping. Such drama. I shall have to listen to the ELP studio version one day for it and they eluded me back in the day.

One of my all time favourite pieces of music - original piano that is - not the Ravel orchestration which, good as it is, doesn\'t reach the same levels as the original. Great write as always.

You are a remarkable person. Where many would despair you air the love which you know is tangible in your life story..... a story which has many more chapters waiting to be lived.
I\'m sure that reading your words, as seen by me here on MPS over the last couple of years, would indeed be a comfort to any bereaved person. Many who do not have a faith could gain a new understanding from you.
