\'I heard on(e) of them say \"The(y) must be mad!\",
they themselves were absolutely soaked
each to their own I suppose.\'
lol, wonderfully witty,
keep singing and dancing dear Poet,
let those who cherish dwelling in the misery they try to inflict on others: drown themselves - foolishly, in their own self-pity...
whilst those of us who\'ve tasted the true bitterness of life - continue: to fight \'our\' good fight, squeeze every last ounce out of life and face our fate\'s with that \'what-took-you-so-long\' smirk, planted proud on our face...
salud mi amigo,
hope that roast is just this side of \'perfect pink\' and that gravy flows silky smooth - all weekend long

Some people don\'t change from Summery clothes - some wear shorts all year round. *Gets out gloves again myself*.
You casting that clout, as they say? Or not until May is out?

A potent sense you\'ve penned here Andy, with strength and tenderness, absence and presence fondly remembered and honoured. My sentiments can say little about this time for you but my respects for your anniversary.

Yes you can hear a lot of chet\'s suffering when he plays and his singing voice was made for the blues.

And you know that in a tomorrow not so far away you will see springtime around you and the wildlife afire with energy.... your energy for life...

Now we are in winter and should live as in winter.... the natural world lies quiescent, wisely waiting. Relaxed, we are attuned to the seasons.

that self-mined strength and resolve emanating from such write\'s of reflection will hopefully instil in-other\'s, hope: that they too can find what solace can be excavated from the ashes of crusted tears upon aching fingertips and hearts,
\'she\' must be so proud Andy

It\'s a painful anniversary for you.
There\'s the River of Life in Eternity, to walk besides together, for ever! :)
There\'s them trees there too, for the \'healing of the nations\'. Not to spark off another debate, about herbalist healing, as previously though!

This is good expression. My mind boggles too. It\'s terribly frightening... I live in England too and seeing the footage on the news of the mass exidus... They are simply bringing the new variant further North! Anxiety is at an all time high! I can feel your frustration through your words. Good poem showing realities very clearly.

Andy, there are smart people and there are stupid people. There are good people and there are bad people. Unfortunately, the stupid ones seem to get all the attention. I do believe that the silent majority is still the smart ones.

Killing People!
L. B. Mek said:

just mind bogglingly surreal, how much capitalism\'s self-entitlement ideal\'s has warped our mindset\'s,
\'\'as long as I get mine\'s\'\' is \'the\' mentality that modern society \'worships\' ...
but let\'s take a second, whose corruptive influence can negate our innate tendencies for empathy, to the extent we neglect to prioritise \'the greater good\' at a time of palpable chaos?
let\'s not forget all those who profit from our \'heard mentality\'s\', as they sit back and count their windfalls, while planning out their next avenue for panic-forged profiteering...
I\'m with you Andy, but the issue is so monumental to grasp at this point - with all its intricately woven complexities (deliberately), I doubt anyone can pinpoint where to even begin searching for a solution, sad times: truly

In my \'rant\' recently, I covered another aspect - asking for huge money appeals, especially at this time. And for what? A few bricks? How does that help people here and now?!
I could have made a money pledge last time (a million appeal, of course). Oh no, not short term. For 3 or 5 years! But I was later redundant. I would have been in a big fix.
I don\'t condemn charities, etc for asking though.

I love \'Ole Man River, but have up until now never heard it without Paul Robeson (a hero).
It was, however great to hear the music given its due by two fine artists.
Re your Special Face Mask Situation - You have to do something about the beak, mate - it must stick out like....... Well anyway, what\'s the solution? ..Amputation perhaps?
