Good Morning UNCLE ANDY thanks for sharing ! As you know I am a Classical Guitarist and it is one of the factor that endeared me to Don Pedro my future Father in Law. He regards me as 50% Spanish (like Angela) so he feels we are a perfect Match. He knows we will raise our NINOS to love & respect the Spanish Language (Castillian) & Culture ~ AMEN. I am always awed by *Professional Classical Guitar Players* !
Every day has its New Beginnings and October will begin a whole and exciting BEGINNING for Angela & I after 15 months Separation ! Althoughwe will not cohabit until after we are married ~ AMEN thanks for Music & Muse !

Good Evening UNCLE ANDY a wonderful tribute to all who care for the eldely. In My experience they do get a great deal of job satisfaction in what they do ~ especially the FILIPINAS. It occurs to US that they are acctualy ANGELS ! Your intense TRUE LOVE for JOYCE shines through such poetry ! As we have often said YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL ~ AMEN Love the MUSIC it is suitably MELANCHOLY !

I know exactly where this comes from Goldfinch. Those dear people entrusted with your lovers well-being. Felt from your heart.
Beautifully written.

I had a lesser but similar occasion on Thursday when I was able to give my piece \'unlikely bunch\' (Aug 30 on MPS) to the staff and patients in the chemotherapy room at Cheltenham Oncology dept. They are all such kind and caring gentle people. All so appreciative of my small jesture. They\'re saints as are your wife\'s carers.

GOOD MORNING MON UNCLE ANDY - ANGELA HERE (11:30pm almost Saturday !) Brian & I love the DB Quartette (never seen them live !) The DBQ proves that FOUR is a perfect number for a Quartette ! Love your Mantra its one I adopt - both BRIAN & I are accused of seeing some good in everyone even BORIS & TRUMP ! We both have high enough Self Esteem BUT always make space for others to shine {except when it comes to SCRABBLE !}

Blessings & Peace to You & JOYCE

Who said it? Sounds Oscar Wilde-ish (yep, it is): \'Be yourself; everyone else is taken\'.
I\'ve taken a bit of a different angle here to you poem, I realise.

A fine write Gold. Another aspect may be: not needing to be like someone else; not needing to struggle to copy them; there\'s one of them already - one\'s enough!
We would not be ourselves, we would just be a copy of them.

i believe there is a angel or whatever you wish to name it overlooking us all Goldfinch. In my mind i pereceive this as a message/token of reassurance for you from said spirit.

It is as if several things you have been led to by tragedy are slotting into place and your faith is being validated and strengthened.

Peace of mind.

HI UNCLE ANDY - Thanks for sharing & caring - every thing by Ella is an uplift. We love the mood of the Poem as well. In the sad times in this life - our experience is that God & His Angels always send a little sign (like a Feather) from the Spiritual Dimension to assure You & Your Beloved Joyce that the *Angels are watching over YOU ALL - ALWAYS* - AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE

HI UNCLE ANDY - ANGELA HERE (9am Thursday - Clinic @ 11pm) We love PINK FLOYD a revelation in his own time. It is thobbing through my PC a very cathartic drug indeed !
Love the Parable ! The LOST Sheep (The 90 & 9 lay safe in the Shelter of the Fold !) The LOST Silver ( The other 9 pieces were safe on the CHAIN !) The LOST SON (The Elder Son was safe in the Bosom of the Family !) In Essex Brian & Lead a Teen Ministry Team and this is an ideal Parable because it teaches that GOD is interested in each IDIVIDUAL individually ! WE pray for YOU each day and GOD understands why you have turned you back on Christianity. However we are pleased you still enjoy Church for the Fellowship & the Music - AMEN

Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE

orchidee said:

In one sense, I might say \'Hooray, lost your faith in the \'church\' or \'religion\' - if church or religion is just bumbling on, and seeming to get nowhere, or just a set of rules.
Yet in these three parables, the third one is of the prodigal son/forgiving father. With the sheep, somehow the 99 left were still cared for somehow I think.
