Not My Day.
Suresh said:

Well in Los Angeles, it\'s the same, every day, so now we stopped saying, \"it\'s just not my day\", and take everyday in a stride.

Good one thou.

I know that feeling of being hemmed in while road-business goes on in its interminable way - - frustrating to say the least dear Andy.

Not My Day.
Michael Edwards said:

I recognise this - my biggest complaint is a local roundabout which is effectively a tee junction. The number of times I have arrived there not sure if a car coming in the opposite direction is going straight ahead or turning right and having to sit there waiting unsure of their intentions - grrr. . So few motorists observe the highway code when it comes to signalling at roundabouts. Great write Andy.

Nor mine. A lady and I were on a pedestrian crossing. Before we got half-way across, a car did not stop for us. We give them dirty looks, but they may go too fast to even see us.
Must do something about speed humps maybe, on a certain road. Make it a raised crossing, like a speed bump. That\'ll shake up the drivers that don\'t stop.

Yes indeed. One said \'Live so as to be missed\' (when you pop off): Robert Murray McCheyne. OK, I added the words in brackets.
They\'ll miss my singing, but they\'ll rejoice in the silence! heehee.

ANGELA & BRIAN said:

HI UNCLE ANDY : ANGELA HERE : Missed your Musings & Music. Several of Mine & Brians extended Familes are good Pianists and I try ! Love CHOPIN and *Drawing Room Soirees !\" The Piano can be a very intimate instrument !
TIME &TIDE wait for no Man (or Woman) and BRIAN & I have both mused on the fact that ever Human gets 24 hours (gratis) every day. Some like the Mad March Hare are always in a hurry and others like Bagpuss always have time to spare ! Is it a question of ORGANISATION ? Im very organised but some days seem to need 48 Hours !

Blessings & Peace to you & Joyce
Love as always ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Great observation Andy
Where does the time go?
Where does the rubber go from car tyres?
Where do the clouds go when it doesn\'t rain
Where do odd socks go
I guess we\'ll never know

You enjoying yourself then? Does time go quickly when one is enjoying oneself, as the saying goes?
All I know is time went very slowly in 1066. Not an enjoyable time, cos I turned up!

Suresh said:

In reality, the part of brain that is responsible for music, is also responsible for mathematics and sciences, and thus the saying, \"great mathematicians make for great musicians \"
Irrespective, the vibrations of music has a direct impact on the brain, and implores its listener into a specific rythm.
Thnx for the post.

dusk arising said:

Music is the human interpretation of the audible environment you might say. Taking the feeling a blackbirds evesong places in your soul and transposing it to orchestra for example. Or even the bang and crunch of the city into funk and grunge.

Yes i so agree... music really gets into your soul and motivates the mood.

Not many people say they don\'t like music do they. I couldn\'t live with out it.
