The Avon, your buddy. A peaceful river. I knew it as it flows through Lower Moor and south of Fladbury where i lived a while back. I often pull off the road east of Pershore and quietly sit on its bank between the old and \'new\' bridges. Calming.

A fine write Gold. I rather rushed along a different River, in time for an appointment. Oh dear! I could go back one day and stroll. (it\'s not local).
It didn\'t help to calm me, with the hurrying. My own fault. I did not turn off the river path sooner, back to the main road.

Yes, let\'s all laugh out loud, the one that originates in the gut. I find myself to be the best subject of laughter - and when I laugh at myself, the whole world laughs with me.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY : Its 10pm here but your Video & Ode has cheered me up for the Night ! I love STRING QUARTETS and when I think of Heaven I always imagine \"When I pass through Heaven\'s Gate and sign in @ Reception there will be an Angelic String Quartet playing softly in the Background\". I have had that experience in a ***** Hotel ! As a Physiotherapist I see people with Dementia & Brain Damage and making them laugh is as good as a Massage with Rose Oil ! However my Massages always makes them SMILE ! Your wit and sense of humour is a great blessing to us all : THANK YOU !

Isn\'t it great when, in humour, you are both on the same wavelength. My wife and I often end up in fits of laughter often not even knowing what we are laughing about. Laughter is, of course, the best stress reliever going. Super piece Andy.

Life is a series of changes thrown at us. We have no control over them, except to deal with them as they happen. Some are lovely and bright, others dark and mysterious. We do the best we can, but do not get to choose pathways. Just keep walking the path you are on until the next one comes. Enjoyed your little poem about life. It made me think. Good one GF60. - Phil A.
