Sincere thanks Andy for bringing this need to our attention - - those three words are invaluable to any society but are sadly lacking and so is a simple smile when they are being used - - how sad.

It\'s sadly not just the young ones - I can\'t recall the number of times elderly people have just walked by when I\'ve held the door open for them.
Love the music - it reminds of the time when I first fell in love with the erhu (in Vancouver of all places).

Yes - and let\'s not hold a door open for some people. We may feel like slamming it in their face, if we get no \'thank you\', but a weird look. But then that\'s two of us being impolite - us and them.
Should we be tempted to try a selfish day, e.g. just barging ahead, and \'[our] beauty before age\' and always go first?\'
And do your Store Assistants just grunt, or do better than that?

Is it the way they were brought up (dragged?). Where did the parents get this from.
I remember having those three words drilled into me as a post brat stage child. Now they lubricate my interactions day to day.

No other has that fluffy mellow haunting trumpet sound of Chet. And his singing voice in his late years was to marvel at for the expression he was able to carry.
Not a reader of the dots yet in his early playing years he was able to play in many bands of the day without fault.
Chet a truly amazing musician by anyones standard.

ANGELA HERE - Each Member of MPS has their part (however small) to play on MPS to make the Daily Whole exponentially better than the sum of the parts ! Where would it be without MIKES Paintings - FAYS incredible Poetry - STEVES Spiritual input - JOKER 44s Qirkiness and YOUR eclectic choice of Music to satisfy our souls. This is why (despite limited Time) BRIAN & I try to visit & comment every day. To us it is the best Poetry Site (on line) ever !
Thanks for the VIDEO ! This is an elegant piece but I find LISZT much more difficult than CHOPIN. Lang Lang is one of my fave pianists. He makes it look easy and sound sublime. Love the Picture & the Poem. Uncle MIKE with His perfect Paintings & quirky Poems light up MPS every day for us - He is a GEM !
Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

ANGELA HERE - Good Morning !Thanks UNCLE ANDY I found your video (Rachmaminov 2) and your poem very uplifting as I face another day of Ministering to People with broken dreams & limited mobility. Many of my clients tell me *You have the hands of an Angel* which is very true ! My Parents christened me ANGELA (Spanish for Angel) that I might be used of GOD in the World ~ AMEN. Back to the Poem. In all our minds there is *A Beautiful Isle of Somewhere* where Peace reigns and we will all be reunited with our Loved ones again ! However we will only be there when we pass from the PHYSICAL to the SPIRIT(UAL) dimension. I follow the accepted Catholic (Biblical) Doctrine in this matter - OK.
Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOURS
