Andy,

Signing onto and viewing MPS keeps my abibliophobia at bay! Verbophobia is not one of my afflictions because Iā€™m a logophile ... and proud of it! I enjoyed reading your phenomenal acrostic! Impressive!
Let us know how it went with the Poetry Group!

My love to Joyce and you!

the capacity to learn, does not make us uniquely human but the capacity to learn from our own individual mistakes, makes us all individuals... memory is about the storage of information in the correct box and being able to retrieve it when required or necessary.... problems arise when something prevents us from locating the appropriate box when access is required... there is certainly much truth in your final three lines my friend... Just great - some read - I bet it went down well. I have long been familiar with the flocci etc word - it was written in large letters in the Estimating dpt of a company where I worked back in the early 1970s

If ya had not giving some definitions at the end, I would have said \'Could ya say all that (poem) again, please?!\'
Ahh - so it\'s nothing to do with hippos, that very long word. heehee.
Ohh I knew \'flocci-knocky...\' Think that\'s how you say it.

A fine write Gold. Is it worth me trying the bi-monthly local poets group again? Dunno if it\'s still going, but may meet this evening (last Tues of month bi-monthly).
It\'s rather a muttering and mumbling though. I mutter too. doh!
Lets waffle - FIBS of 13, 21, 34, 65, 99..... - words per line? When to stop?!

A good write Andy. We may plunge into the failure at the time, then may sometimes only learn later from it, so it becomes constructive, or redemptive - spiritual word there, meaning it \'saves, helps us somehow\'. Not that we can earn our salvation though.

Electronic payments...
One of my pet peeves!
I donā€™t like them at all!
I pay by cash wherever and whenever I can! In this case, Iā€™m glad Iā€™m old fashioned!

I enjoyed the clip!
Have you seen the film, ā€œThe Hoursā€? Itā€™s a great one!

My love to Joyce and to you!

A fine write Gold. It\'s embarrassing if paying by credit/debit card, and payment is not accepted.

WOW UNCLE ANDY : Ella & Summertime ~ Liquid Love ! Don\'t knock the DEAD ! Granddad Bing (b. 1903) I love him and he influenced all the great Ballad Singers that followed : Sinatra NKC Jim Reeves Tony Bennett Tom Jones etc. What I love about WHITE CHRISTMAS is that Bing had the temerity to WHISTLE in it. Bing didnt rate it : but Irving Berlin said to his Secretary after she had stenographed it for Him \"I think weve got a good one here !\" Remember ANDY that we Girls have lots & lots to do @ Christmas and buying Pressies etc really does start on 2nd of JANUARY ! The supermarkets are full of christmas goodies. Yep earlier every year. By the time christmas arrives they\'ll be sold out.

I\'m puzz;ing over how i can make a 4 yr old grandaughters christmas a little happier with a present this year... i have no idea at all. I see her busily playing a game on her mum\'s mobile phone and think to myself..... wow!
