A fine write Gold. I rather rushed along a different River, in time for an appointment. Oh dear! I could go back one day and stroll. (it\'s not local).
It didn\'t help to calm me, with the hurrying. My own fault. I did not turn off the river path sooner, back to the main road.

Oh yeah, life\'s treasured moments. So true GF so true. The best medicine they say and it is true. Itis hard to hate when you are laughing, and they say it actually reduces pain. Awesome write. - Phil A.

Hello Goldfinch60,

A good write.

Humour is so important you are so right. People are so down though all the time.

Keep writing FineB.

Yes, let\'s all laugh out loud, the one that originates in the gut. I find myself to be the best subject of laughter - and when I laugh at myself, the whole world laughs with me.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY : Its 10pm here but your Video & Ode has cheered me up for the Night ! I love STRING QUARTETS and when I think of Heaven I always imagine \"When I pass through Heaven\'s Gate and sign in @ Reception there will be an Angelic String Quartet playing softly in the Background\". I have had that experience in a ***** Hotel ! As a Physiotherapist I see people with Dementia & Brain Damage and making them laugh is as good as a Massage with Rose Oil ! However my Massages always makes them SMILE ! Your wit and sense of humour is a great blessing to us all : THANK YOU !
Abundant Blessings & Joy to You BOTH

Isn\'t it great when, in humour, you are both on the same wavelength. My wife and I often end up in fits of laughter often not even knowing what we are laughing about. Laughter is, of course, the best stress reliever going. Super piece Andy.

A fine musical write Gold. I know a group where they have occasional jazz/country style/etc performers some weeks. Other weeks it\'s D-I-Y with group members showing their own talents, bit like BGT - Britain\'s Got Talent!

Life is a series of changes thrown at us. We have no control over them, except to deal with them as they happen. Some are lovely and bright, others dark and mysterious. We do the best we can, but do not get to choose pathways. Just keep walking the path you are on until the next one comes. Enjoyed your little poem about life. It made me think. Good one GF60. - Phil A.

Thanks Uncle Andy : Angela here 11:30 pm Wednesday ! Im still laughing at the VIDEO : WICKED is the only word I can find to describe the British sense of Humour. The Life of CHRIST (Brian) and the Promenade Concerts are two of the most Sacred of Things : Put them together HILARITY ! Ive watched it again and laughed even louder ! Your POEM is a great contrast \"Shadow across the SKY\" : Future Uncertain : made me so so sad ! BRIAN is feeling lonely today : see His Poem : SOLITARY and I miss him equally. Why does life always have to be DARK CLOUDS & FEW SILVER LININGS. I can empathisie because BRIAN is just a fleeting figure on a SKYPE SCREEN ! But we must always \"Look on the Bright Side of Life !\"

A fine write Gold. We may like new paths naturally - not having walked there before. Yet keep to a set route if not travelled there before, or may over-shoot and end up anywhere without a map. Hope that won\'t be my experience today. lol. Not that ALL of this is I say here is a spiritual metaphor.

THANKS UNCLE ANDY : I (Angela) was born in 1988 so by the time I was allowed in a UK Bar !(2006) it was the 21st C and in Towns the World you speak of had dissappered ! Girls played ARROWS just as good as the Boys and there were no segregated Bars ! I\'ve seen old Films and Town Centre Pubs have morphed into wine Bars & Fine Dining. Having been raised in a Spanish Family (in the UK) our attitude to Alcohol is very different. Wine is very much part of the Cuisine for for drinking & cooking etc and I can say \"Mano a Corazon !\" I have never been drunk and incapable ! Mucho des Tapas ! Even @ the tender age of 30 (31 soon !) I too have Memories : especialamente ha visitado a Mis Abuelas (Grandparents) en Sevilla en Julio y Natale ! See how easy Spanish is ! Loved the BACH : Perfection ! When Im in England BRIAN & I like to visit Villiage Pubs to catch the ambience and to make sure they have draft (or bottled) San Miguel & sell Rioja by the Glass !
Blessings & Love to You & Joyce
