A lovely write and clip Gold.
A church has a \'highlight\' of remembering Archbishop Thomas Cranmer\'s martyrdom today. Not exactly \'the joys of Spring\' but neither was it for him in 1556. Were we there in person in Oxford?

I read this as if my life depended on it for some reason.
What have you done Finch?!
Seriously though, it was a very good read.
A quote from one of my (possible?) ancestors:
\"God is in his heaven, and all is right with the world.\" - Robert Browning
Thank you for posting Finch, I enjoyed it!

A lovely write Gold. Yes, we have some Rivers near-ish to us. I see them more maybe in Spring.
Meanwhile ( a \'said\' verse):
\'O land of endless peace
Where noise and turmoils cease
How did this tranquil peace bring?(i.e. come about)
\'Tis easy - Orchi did not sing!\' heehee.

\"Senryu\" poetic expression
Mind baring its innermost emotions, unfiltered, in judgement by all - yes quite intimidating
A few words, but very engaging

The word \"Senryu\" makes me think of samurai.
So, yes it is intimidating.
So little words accompanied by such a grand message.
Writing is the best I tell you.
You should post more of them, because I liked this one - As I\'m sure others will.

orchidee said:

Oh lol, good write Gold. \'Myth\' can also have some technical or religious sense. I\'ve forgotten what it is.
Bit like \'mystery\' in Biblical sense, which can mean \'revealed secret\'. Erm, so then it\'s no longer a mystery....

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ We love the fact that so so many of your poems spring out of HUMAN SITUATION ! If you can help somebody ~ then you do ! (Please check our POEM today ~ OUR SELF RESPECT). Thanks for highlighting CLEO and the late JOHNNY DANKWORTH ! JAZZ has to be interpreted and they ALWAYS made its message very clear & very plain ~ AMEN !
We appreciate your POEM because that is what we do to alliviate our separation (11,500 miles) for over 8 months apart from my August trip. We do SKYPE every day ~ email etc ! ANGELA is always busy SAILING : SINGING : SHOPPING etc and WORKING of course ~ So she too finds HAPPINESS (despite the separation !) in Words : Music : Art : Nature & SHOPPING etc. I have spoken to NORWICH HOSPITAL for her next WORK EXCHANGE ! Now that we have high definition TV with huge screens i find the horse racing a joy to watch though, but i do wish they would not show the betting odds as i think this is an inducement to bet.
