Really glad to read you are on the up my friend. Life\'s burdens can catch up with us. So good to read they are back in perspective. Winter blues and cold weather keeping you from river walks i suspect.

Cleverly put together.
A boss of mine years ago used to do huge jigsaws without ever seeing what the box picture was. Thinking about it now i should have gone for a bit of \'one upmanship\' and told him \"oh i always like to see the picture but i like to complete the puzzle with the blank side facing up\". Now thats a challenge for you. Does your other half do jigsaw puzzles too?

A fine write and pic/clip Gold. Was she trying to win the Lottery with Camelot? Or does someone else runs that now? There\'s more chance of completing the jigsaw than winning the lottery!

Dont risk it, i fell through the ice many times as a kid. I\'m not so resilient now.
By water all the frosted foliage seems to be experiencing a much colder, whiter winter I\'ve noticed.

How inconsiderate of the council or whoever is responsible for signs in your neck of the woods... You would think they would have the decency to put up a winter variant... Go for a slide, get some one to punch ya in the eye , take a selfie send it to the council with the threat of posting it on the internet, you tube or summat if they dont cough up... if they refuse.. just sue them..... We\'ve a lake near-ish to us, quite a large one. It will have to be milder for me to walk round it. Otherwise I briskly walk and am more concerned of getting back indoors. Then it becomes a rushed walk.

A lovely write Gold. In most Old Testament thought, the \'Wisdom\' writers say to pack in as much as we can each day. \'This life is all there is\' seemed as one sort of motto to them, with not much concept of an after-life or eternity. Understandable, as it was not yet the time of Jesus and the New Testament.

We all \'wear\' our clothes in unique manner. By \'wear\' I mean the wrinkle and creases we cause to repeatedly develop in our garments. For we are all a different shape.
The old clothes we wear become a part of our outward personna as much as the smile lines, wrinkles and the way we limp along.

I went to Specsavers last week in Wells City, a place near where I live, to order two new pairs of glasses. Whilst I was walking through the town I saw this old fella sat on bare, and cold paving slabs in front of a locked door, which looked just as flaky as the old fella. He was only wearing a top jumper and a pair of jogging bottoms, which looked as though they were as old as him. He must have been 70 at least. So. off I trotted to the nearest charity shop and bought him a pair of shoes, his were ridden with holes, which I thought would fit him, they did, a couple T-shirts and a woolly jumper, and a jacket all for under £20.
I then checked into Greggs and bought him 2 filled rolls, a few cakes, and a large cup of coffee which he looked dire for. When I greeted him with his ageing wrinkled up face and stinking which nearly knocked me out, I think he may have wet himself, but never the less I handed him his gifts. He suddenly burst into tears and kept repeating \"Thank you, I love you, thank I love you so much, I thank the Lord for you. As I waved goodbye to him and walked away up I thought to myself about how priceless his heart really is. I couldn\'t stay to have a chat with him because my bus was arriving very soon. Humans need to understand just because of a pensioner being homeless and parked up begging on the street doesn\'t mean they not to be treated as humans, too. I have reflected upon him since, and although I am powerless to help any more than I did I hope he eventually finds help from someone somewhere somehow. It\'s a miserable world when we get to see this happening on our Streets, especially when the generations who are older than us who suffer every second of every minute of every hour, day and months. I hope the next time anyone who reads this and gets the chance, then even if it\'s a quid pulled from your flowing over with money pockets and make a gesture of reassurance that at least in the least of all things he, or she has been thought about. God bless that old fella I had the grace to meet. Old cloths are gold dust to the homeless.
