I don\'t know why but the music starts at the second movement for some reason, to hear it all move the cursor back to the beginning.

So right. I have found that writing pieces about my past \'highs\' really does enable me to rejoin the emotion and joy of those times when i re-read them.
Time seems to be our master.

Lovely music and images whilst i contemplate your words.
Wonderful to find a book - something new and unexpected - which reminds you of your humanity. \'Unputdownable\' as they say.
You have a great way of conveying your pleasure of simple things in life here.

Chet Lives in Me.

Chet is in me too, very much so. An amazing history this man had.
But the soft sound of his playing and ruby warm singing voice are unique and he brought out the melancholy from a piece with more depth of feeling than others. The quality of his faltering voice in late years added to the melancholy. An untrained virtuoso, non reader, yet held his own in big bands of his youth before his individual talent shone thru.
Yes this guy is one of my all time music greats. Thank you for writing a fitting tribute to this great talent.

\"Come Chet blow your HORN\"

Thanks ANDY ~ Brass is an essential element of JAZZ particularly Horn & Bone especially in the Swing Bands. I like to sing (Solo or Chorus) so I have always been a BMG (Banjo ~ Mandoline ~ Guitar) Man ! However I do envy the Horn ~ Clarinet & Sax Players with their amazing solos ~ I do have a go at piano & vibes which affords solo opportunities but the Horn is KING ! Thanks for sharing & caring ! Please check my Poem today and thanks for yours ~ You are a Blessing to MPS ~ Your Friend ~ BRIAN

Your wonderful poem has reminded me of some of my mini skirts young years! A blast of a time with my long haired boyfriend...who is now my husband!

Well we were all young yesterday werent we. Great that you friend has fond memories of her youth. A time of youth, vigour, exploration and excitement! Old though she (we) has become, there is the young lady still inside her behind those wisened wrinkles. Really uplifting read from you today.

P.S. The song was used as the title music for a film \'Blue Velvet\' a few years back starring dennis hopper, well worth a watch.
