Thanks ANDY for a double whammy ! A tribute to LUDWIG and also Dudley Moore (a great Concert pianist and a great Comedian) ~ sadly missed. My Dad is Church organist and a fine Pianist and my earliest recollections of Ludwig is the Moonlight Sonata (my fave.) coming up through the bedroom floor when my Dad was practicing ! Thanks for sharing the music and a Poem that was both solemn & droll ~ Real Dudleyesque. We recently had a recital in which a variation on the Lambeth Walk was played ~ in the style of Chopin ! Thanks again BRIAN

Wow - what a fantastic parody by Dudley and to think I never saw this before - - yes I would think Beethoven would really decompose after this. Great first read this morning.

A fine write G. Something of your sub-conscious tuned in to that experience you had?! I only tuned in last night to some clips of Ode To Joy. Some rip-roaring singing! The also put the tune to a hymn in a Cathedral Service I went to. Hymn had 9 verses! heehee.
Oh, I get it - de-composing!

I know you like Mozart but for me Beethoven is way above him - my favourite composer of them all - I can listen to his work any time, any place, great tribute Goldfinch.

A fine write G. But it won\'t be...Schoppenhauser - or some similar name, who some say is ghastly! Surname starts with S. You\'ve called hell-fire down on him before - well almost!

Kind of like a metaphor in a way, Goldfinch. People like to point the finger, when it is obvious they are the person guilty of what they are blaming others for, in this case blaming the pen who is just the messenger.

THANKS ANDY ~ It\'s the moving HAND doth write ~ and having writ moves on ! Nor all thy piety and with can move it back or cancel half a line ~ nor all thy tears wash out a word of it ! Don\'t blame the PEN ~-+
blame the BRAIN that guides the HAND ! I once typed an intimate Love Letter to a Lady Friend and sent to my whole mail box by mistake 1 I got some funny looks off the Church Elders (on my list) ! The positive outcome was that ten of the Ladies on my list ~ made me an offer. MORAL: Be guarded in what you write ~ and even more guarded to whom you send it ! BRIAN

A fine write. At times we may have a (terrible?) thought, of not wanting to bring a child into the current world, with the state it\'s in. Yet there\'s the spiritual dimension to the world too.
