Was the race over for us two about 5 million years ago?! Or in 1066, when I made that blunder?!

A fine write. Not that we \'give up\' when we get older, but I can\'t get all \'ambitious\' now! Not that I always had a lot of spark when younger. Ohh, get me my carpet slippers and pipe, and I will sit by the fire in me dressing gown\'. Well, we\'re millions of years old, so we say! Tee Hee.
Well, not the pipe - smoking is bad for us!

TIME ~ always stirs my muse ~ may post one next week. All Men (and Women even !) are created EQUAL in this ONE respect ~ GOD grants each of us (on Planet Earth) 24 precious hours every single day ! How we use those 24 hours is our gift back to GOD. I rise at 7pm and get to bed about 12 midnight ~ 17 hours each day ~ I never run out of time and I even have time to post a poem on MPS every day and comment on five or more ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN

A fine write. I was wasting too much TIME figuring out why \'tomorrow\' never comes. When it gets here, it\'s \'today\', etc!

I know the revelance you feel toward Jazz . I grew up listening to Benny Goodman , Louis Armstrong , Charlie Parker , Miles Davis etc so I relate to the state of contemplation that Jazz delivers . Your tribute ensures that Chet continues on in memory and actual presence .

I discovered Pink Floyd about 6 years ago and later, in a concert, saw the Austrialian Pink Floyd. Such a talented group of genius. Nothing like their music. Great tribute Goldfinch!

A fine write. Erm, did they do any hymns? I\'m not familiar with this! Doh! One entrance of the V&A is being refurbished. Take a detour to get in!

Thanks ANDY ~ for an excellent Folk Video and a very nostalgic poem. Folk groups are much more popular in the North of England rather than the South. For those who are unfamiliar with the genre this is an excellent example the four part harmony and the slightly nasal tone. We generally had our right hand on our right ear to give vocal resonance ! Your poem resonates with others which tell a similar story of the final performance in Sport ~ Music ~ Last day at Work etc always very moving and nostalgic. Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

Good write. I\'ve visited churches occasionally where it turned out to be the farwell sermon of a priest. I heard him/her for the first - and last - time. Not that I went to say \'good riddance\' to them, or \'don\'t hurry back to see us again\'. Though there\'s been ones that I could have gone to with that motive! Oops!
