Good write. I don\'t tend to use the word \'luck\', but I know what you mean. You have your own personal situation, as we all do. Yet it seems we don\'t have to go too far to see someone else who is not so blessed as we ourselves are. Maybe it\'s partly to remind us to get the humble pie out and eat another slice of it?!

Reaching Perfection.
Michael Edwards said:

I always aim to improve towards the ultimate goal which I know is unattainable but I keep striving - just to improve is a goal in itself and there is always room for that.

There is never true perfection, I guess. But, it is the journey, isn\'t it? I try to learn more along the way so there is always something on the back burner to accomplish. Thanks for this thought this morning Goldfinch!

Good write. Yes, seems so - if we \'arrive\', then where to next? What to do next? \'Perfectionism\' can be a psychological thing.
How do I know that word this time of the morning?! (about 9 a.m. UK time).

A fine write. There\'s an Island on a River I know in my home town, now made accessible. It was previously all closed off.

You have put together so well the words of a very difficult time in your life. I hope that you find comfort in being able to do so. My heart breaks for you Goldfinch. I am so sorry you and she have to go through this.

Cure the World.

There is a great sense of hope after reading this inspiring piece. It comes almost in a self reflecting or confrontional fashion for me. I can genuinely feel your passion for helping others, and there is also a strong protest for a neighbor\'s effort to evolve community impact which can lead to global peace. You are indeed a revolutionary with a vision.

I\'m becoming more convinced that some National Day of Prayer would really help, though some may scoff at it.We could have endless elections, \'schemes for peace\' etc, but I don\'t think they really get to the roots of things. This too sounds good - a positive \'epidemic\' of kindness. We\'ve had negative epidemics of plagues, sickness, etc.

Trident will do us no good whatsoever, as you say the money should be spent on the NHS and education.

Thanks ANDY ~ \"All I am saying is Give Peace a Chance\" I agree with Jeremy ~ scrap Trident and use the money for education and the NHS ~ OK. Trump & Theresa are both HAWKS when it comes to defense (or should the be attack ?). Putin et al don\'t really want a war so why waste billions preparing for it ~ Brother BRIAN Please check my PYRAMID ~ Ta B.

I\'m not a lover of using bad language gratuitously but it\'s not used that way at all in this - in fact it makes the poem all the more poignant and no need to apologise at all - in fact it\'s going into my favourites. Good one Goldfinch.
