Orchi,

...“oomph”...
is needed...especially today on September 11th! Just think of me attending today’s memorial along with a few thousand others!
Thank you for the share!

I wrote this to fill in a \'missed page\' in a notebook. It turned out to be a powerful little piece, I think! We all need \'oomph\' but it\'s not human effort.

Good to see the clergy/ministers joining in the singing too. Some places they just sit there, dare I say it, like (dumb) muppets, during the hymns!

Orchi,

A great hymn and poem!
It reminded Lorna of the movie “Conan the Barbarian”! A movie I did enjoy watching!
It reminded me of Charlton Heston’s chariot race in the movie, “Ben-Hur”! One of the movies on my favorites list!

I\'m sorry Orchi - all I could think about when I read is Conan the Barbarian movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. When asked \"Conan what is best in life\" - Conan replies: Destroy your enemies, see them run before you and hear the lamentation of the women\"..... all in a deep Austrian accent ...... so funny....... so I\'m laughing! Shame on me.......

Thanks STEVE ~ Love it when you think outside the A & M BOX ! Love TAIZE it always lifts me into the SPIRITUAL DIMENSION ~ we do have them in Essex in various Christian Denominations it is a very ECUMENICAL form of WORSHIP. Often we incorporate verses in other LANGUAGES ~ European ~ Eastern ~ Asian & African. Love the POEM ~ like the TAIZE it was endless but never monotonous

O LORD hear my Prayer
I know you are there .......... !

Great opening ~ Thanks for caring ~ Heavenly Blessings BRIAN 😎 & ANGELA 🧡

I liked your \"definition\" at the end - it\'s so true that when we\'re down - if we live through it - we come out stronger don\'t we.........

Super write Orchi, and those Taize chants are mesmerising.

Just one minor thing in the second stanza should the \"we\" in the last line be \"we\'re\".

Sorry if clip is a bit Gothic again, Brian! I chose a nice one I think. Some others were gabbling on in some Latin Mass thingy. No use - can\'t understand a word of it. And that was very Gothic!

Resplendent Reigning
Gary Edward Geraci said:

“For \'tis of your omnipotence

Man can reason and can sense [this]” yes - like a radar blip image for a far-away horizon yet to be seen by our very own two eyes. We ‘instinctively’ know there’s something greater out there that, once and for all, truly satisfies. Thanks for writing this line and this poem.
