Thanks Soul. I tend to observe days, etc, but not scrupulously. I don\'t worry if I miss a Saint\'s Day, for example.
We\'re seen as spoil-sports if we say Santa does not exist. Yet I know we keep Christmas on the day it is - Dec 25.
Here\'s another thing - today is the Annunciation. It would be - 9 months before date of Christmas!

In the original hymn, particularly near the end, a couple of words seem to be sung quickly to fit them in with the number of syllables per line. There are some hymns where the metre is given as \'Irregular\' and the tunes jump about! Think I shall leave those ones out for my hymn-poems!
