Thank you! Even though writing is a solitary art, I do not feel alone after reading all your comments. I am looking forward to your constructive criticisms on my future poems.

Great two poems sir
Enjoyed them so much.
I\'d love to write on a typewriter
Unfortunately I\'m illiterate
And cannot spell or produce
Grammar. My saviour is
Spell check and perdictive text.

Great write but not something I usually experience. If an idea comes to me I scribble down a few ideas and then play around with them until I get a poem out of it as with yesterdays poem. Other than that I have a notebook into which I put phrases, words that appeal, ideas etc. that come to me at any time, when reading, watching TV, talking to others etcetera and I have the book with me at all times. These ideas are usually quite disjointed and unrelated. I never sit in front of a screen and think what to write about.
What I do is type a series of entries from the book (I score through them in the book so I don\'t repeat them again later) and usually they trigger an idea for a poem. If they don\'t I leave them in my documents and add to them from time to time until something jumps out of the woodwork at me. That\'s exactly how todays poem Deserted Graveyard came about.

Most have been there, that empty page or blank screen can sometimes be very daunting. Good writes.

I\'m a very visual listener, and your words paint a perfect picture. I followed where you took me, and I giggled with her in the end. Wonderful Picture Thank you

Thank you to all of you! I am glad you like it. And as far as subject matter is concerned, it is true, I am kind of all over the place. I usually write a first line and then that mysterious thing called mind simply takes over. Mahalo!
