A Whole Lot of Work
Louis Gibbs said:

These bodies may be a \"sad symphony\" of our former selves, but the mind and soul grow endlessly, don\'t they. Great imagery in this one, Fred! Loved it.

does that mean to erase everything above those three lines? sometimes what we mean may not mean the same thing to another. I liked everything above those three lines. for me (not you)this body of mine got old to quickly with all the chemicals I did years ago. I\'m ashamed to say what. but these days I feel very weak. with this body and heart. I have my mind and although it is very different then others. I feel to use it to compensate for my body. I love looking into my past. I take delight in it. to me its right here. I just got from someone an inspiration to write a book about living off the land. with no income. fishing, scrap metal. gold in the streets. living in a tent. bread was very cheap. I\'m going to use my mind going back there and tell about my adventures. do you want a copy of the book? ha! ha!

Everytime that guy Stephen.Sapaugh begin to comment his critics on someone poem makes me have to go back there and reread the poem to see what is missing. I\'m not a critic at all and I just love to read the poems admiring the art in it or the feelings and emotions that people releases here. It is so human. I love it. I\'m wondering what he is going to say if he reads one of my writings. He did not get to me yet.
I think in most cases we are just having a conversation with our soul. Delivering.

Throw in some commas in this poem, and you got a real winner for a story poem. It conveys pretty well the sexism apparent in the aviation culture. Glad you wrote it. The good things are your abandon towards covering these tensions up. The bad/ugly I will combined it\'s one thing, and one thing only. Punctuation. If you added some commas this would be a very solid poem. I find myself wanting to take a breath on many of the lines, and I don\'t know where you intended me to. If I were to grade this poem I would give it a 7/10 due to lack of punctuation.

The past is where I\'ve already been, and not the way I\'m heading. Today is daily bread, and tomorrow has its own troubles. Our times in a spreadsheet is a fascinating thought! I\'m not sure I could handle the anxiety. Provocative poem, sir.
