This struck me particularly sorrowful. I guess it\'s that the insides are so contrasted against the gaiety of the paint. Makes the paint a silly mockery of the man inside.

Simple words delivering a powerful reflective verse. Great write!
I still have one of my favourite childhood toys, a clown puppet - the subject of a song-writing attempt: Painted Puppet Clown. It contains a lyric \"can\'t change his frown\".

I think we are all clowns sometimes. We do what we have to do to survive in this world and some days we need to put up our show.

A fine write F. Some clowns can seem sinister, and make us worried.
At the moment I\'m more worried of how to get that accent thingy under the \'c\' in \'façade\'! lol. Ooh it\'s put it in automatically I see

Oh so right! You\'ve hit that squarely on the nose. Some clown decided i\'m pensionable this year. Good job i run my own business too or i would have had to adjust their nose in a different manner. Lots of life left inside us old coots so long as our health luck holds out.

I too find it easier on my mind when I go out among other people and they see my toothless jaw sagging and two hearing aids I have to wear. is it me or them? I just don\'t know, but I do know it feels good.lol

The good thing about being older is that one can blame everything on being older. Lovely way of writing.

What a perfect description of those stutters! Sometimes it\'s so close I could trip over it, and other times it\'s washed spotless. I\'m certain I\'ve lost brain cells each year past 35. I think my three curtain climbers helped induce the fog.

Today I said Goodbye
malubotelho said:
Very profound. I like that you could fit the bulls and the bears there on your goodbye. They are so annoying. I said goodbye to my unreal self so many times but it is like I can leave it but it never leave me. I have only feel holly moments with my truly self and it is only when I can quite my freaking mind.
Your poetry is very truthful. Thank you.

I so can relate to this poem. We are always waiting for next time. For a better occasion, for better words. To someone to love. For approval, for understanding. We are like ghosts procrastinators. Waiting to the moment that we can no longer lift a finger. I loved the way you put it. So true.
