A TOUCH OF ROMANCE

Lasergraph, love the whole poem, but especially the last stanza! Words are nice, but it is what you do that counts!

Laser,
Absolutely delightful!
Enjoyed the entire poem!
I especially liked the lines...
“She had poured her shapely body,
Inside a long red gown.”
I like the visual very much!
Very creatively executed!

SIGNS OF THE TIMES

Very good write Edward and so true. Before I retired I worked for a computer software company and went all over the country installing software - it was a two day job when I first started, when I retired I could do it in under two hours sitting at my desk. Now 6 years on I would guess it is now just a press of a button!

A bit scary as were all previous advances which we now take for granted - one thing I have faith in - the ultimate controller will always be human - so if (a big if) we have faith in humans (?) then lets embrace it all - excellent write Laser

We went from horses to cars, from cars to airplanes, from adding machines to computers....and now robots, artificial intelligence. You are right on with this excellent poem!

A wonderful write that created emotions within me, so many unseen wounds from people who went to war.

Very well written, Lasergraph! Great rhyming too. Kat wrote a poem about old people too today and I am glad yours addresses that subject. We should be more thankful for all the good the elderly did in this world.

I am working on exactly what your poem describes ... learning to chill out, not sweat the small stuff. You express it beautifully, LG!
