A thoughtful write Neville.
Erm, I not quite got the hang of it - I\'m placing strategic goodbyes - here a goodbye, there a goodbye. I sound like Old MacDonald on his farm! You seen Old Mac lately? I will shut up now! lol.

You create such scenes of emotive saga with this ballad of strategic goodbyes - - how many times fate draws curtains on previous endings as beaches cover poignant memories - - -slowly your lines sketch pictures of long ago helpless experience left as dead with no going back. So cleverly intriguing again Nev.

Not only do i hear that chill wind blowing through your words but i can feel it across my back and it brings a shudder to my easter monday evening.
I\'m unsure of what i have read and the meaning therein but it\'s effect was quite pronounced.

It is a dark piece and today i don\'t want to pry.

Once again your talent lifts off the page with effect. Could have done without the shudder.

There is an opinion that this virus was created deliberately to remove the weak and the old codgers like me from the world so somebody planned this.
The one thing that seems to be coming out of this is that many people are becoming more helpful towards others, I hope this continue and the world will be come a much better and friendlier place to live in.

Strangely Dean Koontz in a 1980/90 novel predicted a virus eminating from wuhan in china would sweep the world with devastating effect in early 2020.... (google it)

I didnt see it coming but we have been tempting fate haven\'t we as the so called western educated world with our clever capitalist led ways of life. Each of us comfortably numb to certain realities.
Fear is now an everyday experience for us all... we do not know where we are going with this in our relaxed society. We can hardly look to a neat and tidy end to this as appears to be happening in china for we are far from comparable to their authoritarian regeime.

We (all of us?) are going to require even more of the PM and Co., when he recovers, I suspect - going through his own crisis at present.
I don\'t have much opinion of the political side.
Do your daughter and partner have \'temporary\' PPE? Thinking of you all.

Many eleventh hours make escapees quake with what appears next and you hit the nail firmly with the last couplet my friend. A beguiling read to be read again.......... hence into my list of faves this goes.

You sure know how to write intriguing pieces.... a sure recipe to get me re-reading several times.

I\'m left feeling i just skimmed the plot of six wonderful novels. I take my hat off to ya.

Most definitely agree. Dear Josef Stalin killed more than Adolf Hitler and neither would have got my vote. But there again many will be pointing a finger at today\'s government for their actions/lack of actions in this covid scenario.
