Poignancy coming to life as inspired words fall on deaf ears answered with silence. A fine write, Neville!

Broken words that fall on arid lands
will no more grow again
nor will the words you sow on unreceptive minds.

Just had a little poetic moment inspired by your fine write N.

Reads like wishful thinking. The desire to forget that which haunts ones mind.
Last verse is a nice twist.

Words that break needed silence are but as this strong poem relates - a sin of sorts........... behind the eyes is where memory stores hurts....... An engaging read again Nev.

A fine write N. I won\'t punish ya with silence - rather with sound - of me singing! heehee.
I\'m cruel - I must punish everyone then! lol.

Very good write Neville. Once you have found the right person the \' Ladies man\' need not exist anymore.

A fine write Nev. I was gonna write a poem: \'Oh, for the sake of...\' or \'Oh for the love of...\'
Aww, why did they suggest \'For the love of God, or for the love of me ear-drums, no more singing from me\'?! heehee.
Where\'s the purple tablets?

In my trade i have lifted many a floorboard Put my hand into dark unknown places which have not seen the light of day for years - thank goodness for navy blue knickers and linoleum.

Your bedroom walls must have witnessed many a romp compared to my woodchip surrounds.

Great entertaining writing, romancing the stone walls.

Thanks for sharing NEVILLE ~ Something which I (Brian) can relate to ! I love rooms with *Old Stone Walls* and have stayed in several in my time. We all leave some of our DNA (Destination Note Alert !) wherever we lay our Heads. We leave Our Presence for them to sense and they in their turn leave theirs ! My experience is that when I sleep in an Antique Room in my slumber I always hear voices and see spectres moving through the Walls ~ the reminder of previous occupants. However they are never tangible always ephemeral ~ SPOOKY. Warner Hotels (UK) have some excellent old Bedrooms one can stay in ~ at your own risk !

Thanks for scaring !
