We may not be known by all but will be known and loved by those who knew us - that is what is important.
Good one Neville.

Self sacrifice for what? A blatant waste of human life. A sad story indeed and I feel one regretted by all concerned.
You have given this incident a sense of meaning and of love although both are lost in the finale.
\"We called it slaughter\" is closer to the truth. Giving this a clear enlightenment may save a life or two. Heavy poetry to be sure. It takes courage to write of such things.- Phil A.

Powerful imagery makes this write outstanding with its poetic appeal that bruises from dying relationships can be more than painful and those who \"savour\" such aches need plain reminders of who holds most blame. A read to view over again in my faves ........x

Your words have so much depth in them Neville, only a poet can write with such emotion.

\"Bruised\" it seems by a shameless lady of \"sailors and serfs n by lords\" and other indiscretions. Don\'t we all encounter such as her in life and end up a sea of \"contusions\" or worse yet \"a poet.\"
At least the \"poet\" spoke in artistic terms and never mentioned names. A \"poet\" speaks truth and uses words like brush strokes. I will be hanging this one in my gallery. - Phil A.

I feel USA has lost 8 years to a devolving political system of underhanded smearing campaigns: 4 wasted by reds blocking anything blues tried to do in Obama\'s last term and this last four focused mainly on strategically divisive appointments and misdirection tricks: that \'just suppose\' we\'re all gona fall for their archaic ways,
good write

Well, I don\'t know. It don\'t seem apt to say \'A fine write/good write\'.
Who to trust? Who to believe?
Well, as I said - can we trust one with such a dodgy barnet?!
In a comedy, one said \'Oh, I dunno if I could work for someone who wears red trousers!\' lol.
Looking on the outward appearance - not a good idea in real life.

Wow, such deviant love, or abuse, but here seems a mutual endeavor, yet there appears to be no permanence in any of her relationships. \"Sincere and the most considerate of lovers,\" surely are hard to find. (maybe not.) A shaded poem from the darker side of love were we all fear to tread. Such desire for pain, to me, spells a twisted mentality, and yet for sure it exists. You have gently brought it out into the open. A terrific write on a most dark subject. - Phil A.

I didn\'t know you were related to a womble - good old uncle bulgaria.

Three blue triangle as in https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archivo:Logo_UNICIT.svg but no i\'m sure i\'ve got that wrong.

On a bright day if i close my eyes and cover them maybe with my fingertips then on opening them i get impressions of blue or green curvy triangles.

However something here has clearly taken your thoughts back to a memory of home... fond memories i hope.

Have you had surgery again i\'m wondering?
