Oops lol! Why it take ya ages to write this one?! There ain\'t no extra-long words in it. Well, masterpiece is quite a long word, I admit!

Now that’s a deep look at the compromises and ambiguities of a long term relationship, SC. Note you only use ‘love’ once in the whole piece and the whole puts that nebulous term in its place….
Great write – Respect.

New History
dusk arising said:

Here we are with a government doing its best to do the right thing so that it gets re-elected and all the media picking holes in their every move (even friggin decorators bill for gawd\'s sake).
Do governments ever do anything right according to the media? Other than gaining scorn from the man in the street who could do a better job (mostly dummies) it seems they do. e.g. UK covid condition compared to some other countries.

Of course governments \'could have done better\' is easy to see once one has the luxury of hindsight.

A very though provoking write SC.

OK if I get a rubber stamp made up with those words on it? Usage? Varies - medium frequency. Not complaining - ordinary ain\'t so bad, in fact rather good, mostly.

On review SC, I note date of posting as May 2020. Now it seems to me that nothing much has changed, in particular the prevarication of the Political Class and the quiet coup of that well known old soldier General Incompetence. And in the meantime the people struggle on the best they can.
However I do hope that at least some of the optimistic paint in the latter half of your piece does not fade…...
Well said anyway.
