A beautiful view of life explodes with this poem where trails traveled and wounds received all blend into memories. Very nice

Loved this write so much truth in it, always write as yourself and as you feel, if you write to please, I feel it looses it\'s honesty and feeling and meaning, does not matter if it is liked or not if it came from within you, very nicely done, have a great weekend

Fascinating and chockful of gorgeous imagery rendering a sense of now and of humanity so beautifully with a gripping, haunting poignancy. Thank you so very much for sharing.

I get a sense of are we as free to do and say as we humans wish,or has it all been laid and planned before and we just follow the path, there are implications in the write but that was the main one for me, enjoyed the read

Profound. Philosophical. Important. These questions get to the heart of what it means to be human in a world where nothing is new and things have been laid out before us. It\'s hard to imagine a world otherwise. I love the interconnectivity built into this poem. Well done, my friend. The stuff a fave is made of! 🌹👏

Deep thought here Cryptic although many meanings are possible it seems to me to speak of humanity as a whole and the conflict amongst humans even though it is written more personally about what appears to be just two people. I particularly like the last stanza ( the balance flickers a candle resisting the wind) Such a vivid visual image that says so much. A fave

Such good advice but like a novice guitar player listening to a Stevie Ray Vaughn or Jimi Hendrix one can not but help to dream. But I\'m with you for it is not to copy exactly but to put one\'s own flavor of life into it. Yes indeed make it your own. Lovely

Wow...you and I are vibing a VERY similar themes today! Love this, my friend. Love the Ecclesiastes reference, which my poem also hints at. I also love the play with opposites: Truth vs Lies...the positive progress of the one followed by the destructive regression of the other. Kind of like two steps forward, one (or many more steps) backward.  This is a brilliant and very thought provoking poem, my friend. A must fave for me. 🌹👏
