Wow! Good morning! I\'d like a decaf coffee, a side of home fries, a large OJ, and, heck, toss in a cup of oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins along with my TRUTH omelet! 🤣 Wonderful job, my friend. What can I say other than TRUTH! 🌹🌹 Ah...yes...I can also say FAVED.

You have accomplished the near impossible describing the intangible in most poetic terms. The words though few are deeply profound in this poem. This one deserves a Fave

spaces we inhabit: pre-dystopian reverie
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Are we meant to catch up with the times when it comes to the increasing isolation and hyper-individualism we see pervasively spreading throughout Western Civilization? That, for me, is the question. I will say this, my friend, you do paint a pre-dystopian world...one that is foreign to the dystopic state of things we\'re in now. When reading this poem, it becomes clear (if it weren\'t already clear to the reader) that we are in a dystopia. Well done on this very thought-provoking poem that is as much a reflection on our current times as it is a nostalgic look back. 🌹👏

That was fun. I used to imagine stuff like this when I was a kid! Nothing like a rhyme to bring it back online.

This poem reminds me very much how I had to encourage our Robbie as a three year old to eat his veg. We had to play games. Lots of them. Airplanes incoming. The spoon descending from a height with a full load and then a handclap when the cargo landed safely in a little open mouth. It worked a treat. Your stew looks delicious. Straight down the hatch. Yummy.

Wow , Nice Poem about the Journey through life to the Present age . Something I can relate to. With ‘Dreams’ and ‘Ambitions ‘ Won or lost. Saddest words in the English language are ‘What might have been’. Good one.

I have never been much of a soup fan...but stew...now you are talking. And, damn, if I had a dragon in my stew I would be playing as opposed to eating! LOL! Such a fun poem that warmed the cockles of my heart as surely as a bowl o\' warm stew would warm and satiate my belly. Well done, friend! 🙏❤️

As a child used to look at the soup and imagine things now I eat it to fast for pictures to form. Several metaphors here and yet the main plot seems litteral and delicious
