Well done unlike a bull in a china shop it seems that there was no glass broken in that menagerie. This one really took on the character. It has been so many years since I read that play.

I felt such undertones of darkness and the current flowed. Perhaps the last line bringing it all together. ππ»π

They say there is balance in all things and the amount of love for someone is balanced by an equal amount of hate or anger. Those that say they never fight are those with no passion in their relationship. There can not be good without evil. A sad and dark story where love and betrayal are balanced with revenge. Nicely done.

A fun read that seems a simple story for children but I always see more. Are dogs that much different than us? Do they fantasize? I know they dream, the do pretend, and yes even have a sense of humor. Is it just our arrogance that keeps them at our feet and not at our side? A most fun read.

Both a poem of awareness and a symbolic poem of parting with the past. There is sadness in it either way. Accepting change is difficult and seen as threatening. This poem represents well these feelings. A fanciful read or maybe not.

A sad deterioration of the mind evidenced so creatively in the obvious breakdown in the poem itself. Very nicely done David a fave for creativity in this one.

A searing, telling work. It also echoes the sentiment of one pronounced dead and cancelled in the daily grind. It would be notable should the apathetic, fearful, non-existent one somehow respond. ππ»π

Where the mind goes and how it works or not when it has suffered too much. My uncle was with General Patton when he entered Germany and they were the first to liberate one of the concentration camps, he aid the he will never forget the smell and the vision of suffering there. A simple write in many ways but so complex below the surface. Very well done
