My roots
myself and me said:

I feel you. I feel you. Hope you feel better now.

We are humans, we all have our weakness, we all have our low point, for some, they were trapped there and lost themselves. It is sad but it happened all the time.

Can not recall who wrote the line \"I am so poor, the only thing left is money\". On the contrast, there is a famous line in the movie \"golden fiddles\" went like this \" we are not poor, we just don\'t have money\".
Great writing.

Being a child of the 50\'s and 60\'s, your poem brought up memories of the Hippie movement, love is everything, living off the land. A time when the worth of a man was measured not in pieces of silver, but in love and hard labor.

The views of life are there for you to enjoy, if you kept your eyes busy with something not in the sight, you miss all the beautiful thing around you.
Nice poem.

PD, so often you find what you are looking for when you are NOT looking! Or, it was right under your nose, but you did not see it! Goes for people, things, anything!

PD, I just read Hood\'s \"Besotted\", and now yours! Man, have no choice but to \'plagiarize\' this one too! If I read Hood\'s and yours to my Lady, I am gonna get so many brownie points, I\'ll be good for a year! :-)
Love your poem!

Dan this is great. I know you are searching for a greater truth that will satisfy you and possibly all mankind. i hope you achieve your personal goal of awareness. Everything which i have seen along my journey seems to ask for a great deal of inner reflection and taking time to digest/evaluate. No easy answers but certain paths lead to fresh awareness. keep going, as will i. Good to read!

I think it is OK to scream occasionally to unload the burden, as long as you do not scream to someone.

LOL @ real man is etc.... real men realised long ago that the concept of thinking one man any more of a \'man\' than any other is a load of macho twaddle.
You are on a journey of self improvement it seems, thats the basis of buddhist teachings. Who could fault you in this my friend. May your path lead you thru the reward you seek.
