Awesome poem Dan! Yes, sometimes it feels as if we were naked, letting it all hang out, letting the world see much too deep into our interior.
.....and the music ain\'t bad either!

For your sake I hope too that you are listening!!! :-)
Sometimes the brain has its own mysterious ways, sometimes it does not want to let go even though it should. That is where our subconscious, our gut-feeling is needed to set the brain straight!
Good writing Dan!

I love it when our split personalities converse with each other, as you describe so well herein. Mine have quite lively conversations ... it\'s fun to listen in. Oops, Did I just reveal a third one? I\'m in trouble. Did so appreciate your excellent poem, Dan!

follow the unknown. I learn most things by trial and error. sometimes what we mean may not mean the same thing to another. and we don\'t want to dig a hole we cant climb out of.if I ask you to see a house on a hill and you do so. I also see a house on a hill. but they are different houses on different hills. so there

You are a daring man. Very brave. What you did as you described was trying to clean your mind from any thought but concentrate in the moment. Beautiful way of doing so. Dangerous though. I enjoyed to read you.

you are pobably mostly right about decoding but like FredPeyer has mentioned, you may be able to decode the pattern of your life but decoding a human maybe a task too much. unless we can superchip the brain and download all the information onto a screen so we can see how everything is put together and how it works then I think it may never be done in the physical realm. thought provoking none-the-less.

Man....So many of us can relate to your dismay here...I also dropped out of high school because I wanted to grow up and mae money and be on my own terribly...I regretted it way down the road. Back in those days , you could get a job at entry level and work your way all the way up....Mid Life I took a few years off after a couple of traumatic events that too place and when I went back into the workforce, I was absolutely stunned at how hard it was to find a decent job....Currently, I have been job hunting now for 3 months...But, I went back to school online and got my Associate\'s degree...turns out they want a Bachelors but my point is that its never too late to turn your entire life around. Nobody can do it but YOU! Take care

and now I feel the need for you to expand this into another piece which has more insight towards the under current pattern of your life. that is your decision however and only you can decide what to reveal. lives we read about in poetry capture almost every feeling of emotion there is, yet, described in such ways that you wouldn\'t think impossible. new ideas are always welcome in poetry and that\'s the beauty of it I find. devote what you think is right for your character and your personality and let it shine through your work. then hopefully you will even see for yourself the insight of your own mind and that\'s a very beautiful thing my friend.

FredPeyer said:
Dan, wonderful writing, straight from the heart or even the gut. It is uncanny how your poem here and my \"just around the corner\" say kind of the same thing in different words.
And you are so right that it is the people around you who care who will help you up that mountain called life.
