Unfinished watercolor
Sealgair said:

Within this \"unfinishedness\" lies a simple truth: life is beautiful because it is never complete, always leaving space for another brushstroke, another feeling, another meaning.

Impressive!

This poem is about the attempt to hold on to a moment that, by its very nature, cannot be held. In its \"unfinished\" form lies its wholeness - just as in music, sometimes the pause sounds louder than the note itself.

Images pour out of this poem in a smorgasbord of flavors running down the sides as syrups on an ice-cream parfait. Delightful and delicious.

Wow, beautifullly put. I\'ve been prejudiced against the French for a long time, probably because they\'ve been in steep decline probably since Louis IX...

A delightful poem. With a gentle smile, you strike at the sacred cows — not destroying them, but giving them a slight nudge so they roll down the hill of history.

Love, like nature, moves in cycles. It can be as bright as summer, as fragile as autumn, and inevitably enter its winter.

The season here seem the seasons of life and the walk through the park the walk through life. A wonderful metaphor well imaged

I loved the flow of color through this poem where a woman well could be a relationship that has all the elements mentioned, the very loss of one\'s soul. It all carries through to the end. Nicely put together in a modernistic surreal portrayal. All so well done a fave

There is a sense of deep symbolism and a strong emotional current here — the words sound like the echo of a personal story that was never allowed to reach its conclusion.

Mister Asperger
Ellen Marsell said:

There’s so much fantasy, grotesque, humor, and ruthless honesty here. All of it comes together into a portrait of someone “off the grid” — sealed inside their own world with no entry for outsiders. I really enjoyed this poem — it’s smart, vivid, and deliciously ironic.

Echoes of the elder forest
Ellen Marsell said:

The whole poem feels as if it were written on the breath of autumn, in the rhythm of falling leaves. It\'s the poetry of the last ray of light gliding down the tree trunk before the day fades away.

Echoes of the elder forest
sorenbarrett said:

The setting is one of depth and feeling. Despite the location I sense Arthurian legends here and the lady of the lake. It gives the feel of Sir George Frasier\'s recounting of the King of the forest from (The Golden Bough) In this sylvan forest magic and myth mix with history. A lovely write

These lines cut deep — full of irony and ruthless truth. A manifesto against falseness, against egocentric whining disguised as art.
A scalpel of truth in poetic form — bravo.

Digital nightmare
Ellen Marsell said:

An epitaph to an entire era that lived through an explosion of rebellion, idealism, and psychedelic freedom — only to awaken in a digital nightmare, where the dreams of the past survive only as shadows. Colorful kaleidoscopes and existential quests have given way to digital algorithms, global advertising, and faceless social media.
The ending is sharp and cold, like a sudden drop into the void. This poem is a farewell to a world that can no longer be returned to.
Brilliantly written.

Images of the past float and filter through this poem of nostalgia burning on fires of the present. The smell of melting vinal records turns to odorless digital autotune where society is now pitch corrected. A lovely write of the past now buried under disposable consumer trash. Loved it

In this poem, the inner gaze awakens something beyond chronology and personal biography — an eternal memory echoing through the centuries.
