While being romantic, your poem also has dramatization. Crying over a broken relationship. Sitting on a cliff at sunset : image of solitude, perhaps of sadness at the turn events took. “learning to embrace all the heat “ : trying to take the blame. “catching up, falling down” : chaos at the relationship getting out of control. “when did I drown” : hints at failing to handle the matter. “the eerie of red” : this could be the sunset or something else. “struggle to not feel sad” : the poem ends on a note of both struggle and sadness.
