One Brighter Day

A very profound write Kevin and your words \"(not found in church, with steeple)\" are so meaningful as organised religion is a farce, I dismissed organised religion when my wife was taken from me by dementia and eventually passed. She had been singing the christian praises all her life, I was a Chaplain at one point but once I dismissed organise religion it was as though a weight ha been lifted from me.
I still believe in god, but it is my god. I also believe that Jesus existed but look upon him as the first Hippie making love not war.

As Dave Allen always said \"May your God go with you\"

Lovesick lines composed on a rainy day
Robert Southwick Richmond said:

The first poem I\'ve read on MyPoeticSide where the middle-axis line justification seems to work with the poem, which is really well-constructed metrically.

I don\'t use middle-axis myself - it can be quite a chore to get MyPoeticSide to left-justify.

\"If we\'d only knew\" is ungrammatical.

You\'re a rare Poet, I\'ll proudly admit
as I witness each line of truth, your finger\'s bleed,
to serenade aching heart\'s, you\'ve never met
and share that solace, you\'ve mined from within...
what a wonderful melody you\'ve weaved dear Poet,
thank you for sharing, Happy Holidays

I\'ve been on MyPoeticSide just three days. You actually know how to write a poem! And you have a real name. Let\'s follow each other.

Including how to format on this WordPress site. You can even evade the middle axis, though it takes work.

Right now I\'m playing with the format.

Nice contemplations and a good read Kevin. Yes it\'s clear you spent an hour listening to a field of flowers growing as it nearly takes that long to get your ear in. It\'s a bit like night vision that takes a bit of time to tune in.
Thanks man!

Happy Birthday soon too! It will show as March 12th on here though (12/3 - month, then day), not 3/12 (day, then month). lol.

Hell of a tale: colour, change, and activity. Plus the underlying sorrow and soreness you tried to come to terms with or bury. Moved along at rattling speed for me. Hope I didn\'t miss too much along the way.

November in England
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

Good Evening Kevin ~ Brian here ~ Essex is about 200 miles South of Buxton so Autumn is a bit Milder & Dryer ! But we dont have many hills so the Autumn Scenary is nice (in Essex) but less picturesque than the Peak District. I like BUXTON and a few yeras ago we used to visit for the G & S Festival in the Theatre. We stayed on the other side of the Park and walked across each Evening for the Show. Its now moved to Harrogate another nice Market Town ! I lived in Leeds for a While and that could be quite Wintery in November. Lovely tribute to November in Buxton ~ Thanks for sharing. Please check our site.

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela & Brian & Smokey Cat !!!
