Nice contemplations and a good read Kevin. Yes it\'s clear you spent an hour listening to a field of flowers growing as it nearly takes that long to get your ear in. It\'s a bit like night vision that takes a bit of time to tune in.
Thanks man!

An actual valley? Does the No.7 bus go there?! heehee.
Happy Birthday soon too! It will show as March 12th on here though (12/3 - month, then day), not 3/12 (day, then month). lol.

Sorrow\'s Season
Doggerel Dave said:

Hell of a tale: colour, change, and activity. Plus the underlying sorrow and soreness you tried to come to terms with or bury. Moved along at rattling speed for me. Hope I didn\'t miss too much along the way.

November in England
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

Good Evening Kevin ~ Brian here ~ Essex is about 200 miles South of Buxton so Autumn is a bit Milder & Dryer ! But we dont have many hills so the Autumn Scenary is nice (in Essex) but less picturesque than the Peak District. I like BUXTON and a few yeras ago we used to visit for the G & S Festival in the Theatre. We stayed on the other side of the Park and walked across each Evening for the Show. Its now moved to Harrogate another nice Market Town ! I lived in Leeds for a While and that could be quite Wintery in November. Lovely tribute to November in Buxton ~ Thanks for sharing. Please check our site.

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela & Brian & Smokey Cat !!!

You capture the feelings of poets who with experience of war tried to define its poisonous aftermath for for those who were called to fight....... much food for thought ih this write my friend.

Great insight into the glorification and romanticizing of war through the hollow adoration of veterans. Respect for veterans should not lead to the nostalgia for perceived glory of past struggles and victories. One observation: poetry is a powerful tool for exploration of your stated subject. You\'ve demonstrated that perfectly and effectively.
