A worthy tribute to that wonderous gift which keeps tides at bay and arranges the seasons etc etc etc - - where would this planet be without the light of the moon - a fine read Brian and I agree that documentary on T.V. was amazingly awesome.

Isn\'t it great to think that the Moon has seen everyone and everything that ever was on the earth - Cleopatra sat and watched her.......

ONCE IN BLUE MOON ! An Acrostic Sonnet
orchidee said:

I will agree with \'Sister Moon\', but we know we don\'t worship the skies and stars.
It\'s from that hymn:\' All creatures of our God and King\'. I don\'t like the line in that of \'Thou most kind and gentle death\'. Death can be a release, but it is still \'the last enemy that is to be destroyed\'.
Bit chilly for it - dancing naked under that moon. I would swoon anyway!

Erm, if it\'s an omen, does it mean that our country won\'t be great again until 150 years time - once in a blue moon?! doh!

This never used to be a fear of mine until about sixth grade. Now this is the stuff of nightmares, and I\'m glad to have visted the caves near where I live before I developed the fear. Nice write.

A fine write Brian. Boo hoo, I was in a cave - safe enough, but they left me there. They heard me singing, and couldn\'t bear to be within 50 feet of me, even if they did want to rescue me! heehee.

MINERS are very brave people and were often the first to discover a CAVE SYSTEM ! I have lost Friends through Rock Climbing ~ but never through POTHOLING ! Warm Hugs ~ BRIAN @@@

hi brian , i completely love this, my twin sister has a poster in her bedroom of cats doing different yoga poses , and i love how they all look like they have different personalities, attitudes and moods. i enjoyed reading this , certainlycats tell us how they are feeling by the way they behave and hold themselves, we just have to respond in the right way to them, i guess.

SHORELINE DESECRATION !

Very good write Brian. It is a balance between practicality and the wonder of nature, personally I would take nature every day but could I live in these days without the power to run my laptop with which to write these words.

SHORELINE DESECRATION !
Fay Slimm. said:

Ah - first my humble thanks for the dedication dear Brian - - the shore are suffering from all kinds of pollution and Cornwall is just one of the beautiful places where wind farms are appearing - -- a tricky subject where many will defend ocean windfarms as needed but where is the balance and where will it end. A powerful piece.
