Great poem, Brian! Our wind turbines/farms are on land, not in the water, but at least its good clean energy! Hopefully we will not \"concrete it all\" as you say, to our land, and leave it to our children. Sisterly hugs--Christina

Here in Hawaii, our shorelines are protected. On the other hand, while wind farms may not look that great, at least they help to reduce global warming. I guess we cannot have it both ways!

\'Ethnic cleansing\' is a crime and is still going on in various parts of the globe. Poems like yours put the spotlight on these problem, and hopefully, one day, if there are enough spotlights, something will be done about it. But I am not holding my breath!

Such an awful time in this worlds history, but some people deny it happened. We know it happened and in some ways similar situations are still happening in our world but maybe with out the vast numbers (or are there).

I\'m looking at Daniel in Old Testament. It\'s quite impossible that any human tyrant can ultimately win. As you say, \'God is Sovereign\'. Though we know we can\'t just wave a magic wand over the wars, as if they did not happen. Nebuchadnezzar in his dangerous unpredictabilities, etc.

A sombre write Brian. There must be some \'special\' terrible judgement against those who persecute God\'s own people, the Jews.
Monstrously, the whole world became involved in war - and twice in a century.
Animals would not treat each other as humans do. But then, animals have no sin. Even the birds do not sign there, it\'s said.

Thanks SL ~ I hadn\'t thought of that ~ depends how acrimonious the split was ! However sticking pins in a Teddy is to be preferred to having the sleeves cut off all my suits and the contents of my wine cellar handed out free to the neighbours or my BMW pushed over a cliff etc. I\'m still single so i guess those extremes are only for nasty divorces ! Yours BR IAN At least no one ever threw my gift Teddy back at me !

Its funny how one of the most dangerous creatures out there we see as fuzzy huggable buddies, to the point where we must create stuffed animals to resist the urge to hug the murder bear hehe! Very nice!

There is something special about teddy bears, had more than one when I was a kid. The name I think comes from Teddy Roosevelt, right?

Good write Brian. A preacher used to carry a teddy bear with him on all his travels. It caused some odd reactions. But it kept everyone humble. He was not eccentric or anything like that.
