THANKS UNCLE MIKE ~ A DODECET is a 12 line Poem which follows similar rules to the SONNET ! Angela likes them because she often runs out of lines ! In this case it is also an Acrostic so its length is constrained to 12 lines (T H A N K S G I V I N G). DODECETS often written as 6 6 or 4 4 4. They can be Rhymed ~ Free Verse or Blank Verse (Iambic). This Poem has good flow and is almost IAMBIC ! Pleased you enjoyed it !
