THANKS UNCLE MIKE ~ A DODECET is a 12 line Poem which follows similar rules to the SONNET ! Angela likes them because she often runs out of lines ! In this case it is also an Acrostic so its length is constrained to 12 lines (T H A N K S G I V I N G). DODECETS often written as 6 6 or 4 4 4. They can be Rhymed ~ Free Verse or Blank Verse (Iambic). This Poem has good flow and is almost IAMBIC ! Pleased you enjoyed it !
Best Wishes & Love ~ Brian & Angela 🧡🧡🧡🧡
TWELVE is the number of COMPLETION so a DODECET is an appropriate structure for a THANKSGIVING Poem ~ it also has 12 letters ! B & A !

Jo March said:

Hello Brian and Angela, It is such a wonderful poem! Yes, this exactly what we need in California. We need hope. We need to appreciate the beauty of this wonderful state! Paradise should be restored and, yes, it is such a beautiful name for a lovely town. We absolutely must believe in the very best. Thank you for the poem!

Ephesians 6 is one of my favorite scripture readings because it is so relevant to us Christians in today\'s world as it always has been. Still, as the earth becomes more populated, so also becomes more relevant the armour of God.
Keep writing.

A fine write B&A. But tut, tut, what\'s all this \'manna\' and worldly wealth?! And women should not wear lots of costly gold, St Peter says. What\'s that? I should be so lucky to even HAVE any gold?! heehee.

AMEN FAY : Thanks for a very positive response ! As CHRISTIANS we are filled with GODs HOLY SPIRIT and the Scripture says \"The Holy Spirit within You is greater than Satan who is outside you : but seeks to destroy. Paul talks about us being filled with the SPIRIT and walking in the SPIRIT. In Ephesians 6 he uses the analogy (with the Roman Soldier) that this inner strength (from the Holy Spirit) is likened to the EXTERNAL SPIRITUAL ARMOUR described in the Visual & the Poem. Pleased you enjoyed it : Love ANGELA & BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡 I love teaching this passage to Teens in the UK & NZ to give them full assurance of 24/7 protection from SATAN : AMEN

Well, a \'faitour\' is an obsolete word meaning \'impostor\'. Bit like I was at 1066. Here ends TUI - \'Today\'s Useless Information\'. I wish I would have battled properly in 1066, instead of mucking it all up! lol.

Is it only a belt, a bit like Donald Duck? Why he wear no trousers or undies?! heehee. Swoon!
Pull your socks up Orchi, and put that armour on. Get your panoply out, and make sure it don\'t get rusty.

HOLA BRIAN : OSO GRANDE ! Its 10 pm here and your funny poem gave me a smile at the end of a busy day : thanks for your SKYPE. One day they may invent a Teleporter SKYPE so I can have a real HUG instead of a CYBER one. I remember you telling me this Chinese Love Story when we first met : I love you because you are so MAD. Only the British understand Britsh humour so I half understand it. Te GOON show is a good example : Im half-smiling while everyone else is rolling on the floor helpless with laughter ! Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:

Angela, this poem offers some great advice for your readers. I, too, learned Spanish and when I visited both Italy and Greece, the translations were very easy, because the words were so similar and they are all romance languages.

In the U.S. they are currently teaching Chinese in elementary school, 3rd and 4th grades. but I\'m told this is a difficult language to learn.
