Gasp! Another evening already. Shall we duet? \'Some enchanted evening....\'\'?! Bit old, originally from 1949 I see. Then again, I saw stuff from 1980\'s in an Antique Show.

Morning Uncle Mike ! We loved the Cartoon ! In Evangelical Circles the Elders rae always prepraed to give \"A Word for the Lord\" should the appointed Speaker not materialise !
The mustaches demand a riposte !
1. To market to market with my Uncle Jim
Some numbskull thre a tamata at \'im
Tamatas are soft while they\'re still in thier skin
But this bu88er killed \'im it was ina TIN !
memories of Crocidile Dundee ???
2. Never leave a STONE unpruned !
3. I never sleep with a Lady with dry skin !
4. We only SING in the Rain ~ We kiss in the Sun !
5. Milk now comes in TETRAPACKS not GLASS or PLASTIC to save the Planet
6. Fido ~ Orchiis Dog ~ resembles His Master ~ His BARK is worse than his BITE (HOVEN)
Thanks for sharing it sharpens the BRAIN !

Some clever and humorous one liners there Michael.

In the Methodist Church if the preacher does not arrive the Stewards of the Church are expected to take the Service. I was a Steward for ten years in our Church but luckily the Preachers always turned up. I have taken Services though in our Church and I even did a Service for the Sea Cadets at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.

MY OWN EMISSARY
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

Great cartoon UNCLE MIKE : My PAPA used to tell me stories ALI BABA y las quarenta Ladrones : Lawers : Garage Mechanics : Real Estate Salesmen etc !
All the MPS Poets are using big words today : Fortunately I had a Public School Education (dont tell Brian !) Claudelle was talking about COLATERAL and now you with EMISSARY ! In essence an Emissary is an IMPORTANT POST a Person acting on behalf of the Government or Head of State etc. To be ones OWN EMISSARY is an interesting concept : it implies one has self-worth : worthy of an Emissary : I like that : much food for thought. In everything I do and say (and think !) I represent ME !
I will take more care in future !
Blessings in all you do : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Please check FUSION : Fave Cuddly Toy : Thanks !

Aren\'t we all, unless we are easily led.
What a shame we have nothing in writing from god. It\'s all man made clap trap fed into us as kids accompanied by \'fear of god\'. Some never recover, obviously they\'re not their own emissary.

Really funny piece today. So many snooty ladies with their lapdogs roam our land. I shall never regard them in the same way again.

Interesting to read your comments on use of rhyme. My feelings exactly.

He’s a rhymer and lyricist
A versifier, elegist
One whom makes a religion
Of metrical composition
His 575’s makes you LOL
But damn it the man can draw as well
I’m sure there’s two of him
YES!... aha! It’s a swindle
Oh well never mind...
May his art never dwindle!

Thanks for the first laugh of he day again Michael

Oh lol, swoon! That\'s me then, as one of the Choir. But I never joined Choir. I preferred paying up when the \'hat\' came round! (Did I?).
One church got too keen - two \'hats\' in one service, i.e. two rounds of collections in same service. That\'s going over the top.

Michael,

Good thing I heard my ‘windows rattle’...I was awakened from a nightmare! I woke up out of breath because I had been frantically looking for a duffle bag filled with money that I had misplaced! Thank goodness it was only a dream!

Great write!
I like the drawing!
If you draw it again,
perhaps less
“eye shadow”!

Have a great Sunday!
