The coffee bar we frequent are very good, they know their coffees, the \'house\' coffee is Arabica but they have a guest coffee as well which changes every few months, at the moment it is Ethiopian coffee and the one before was Honduras, I always try the guest coffees but to be honest although they are very good the Arabica takes a lot of beating.
At home we have Columbian and Brazilian Santos.

A fine write and pic M. I have tea 99% of the time. The other day I had to have coffee it seemed. But \'bleurrrghh\', quite strong, and couldn\'t drink it. Oops, sounds like \'begorrah\' which is OMG - mustn\'t blaspheme.

Michael,
“Alive sand kickin’ ”...that’s a good thing!
So glad you’re feeling better!
Great painting!
I just finished watching former president George H.W. Bush’s funeral. Your painting reminded me of the cathedral the funeral services took place. Beautiful!

Wrote this a couple of weeks ago and much better now. Saw the Consunsultant yesterday and all Okay - should be back to driving again in a couple of days. I went through a life threatening experience which in retrospect has served me well in my appreciation of life. I can\'t wait to get back to a full active life again.

Michael,
Great painting! It reminds me of a wonderful corner restaurant in West Virginia, USA!
As far as the “CUTLETS err COUPLETS”...I’m not too sure what to make of it...other than having a good laugh and serving cutlets (Milanese style) tomorrow!
Enjoyed the laugh 😂

BOBBLES ON SWEATERS
Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:
A jumper in America is equivalent to a pinafore in England.
And a sweater (woolen or cotton) is what the English refer to as jumpers.
As well Americans refer to petticoats as slips (full or half).
The hooped petticoat in the UK is referred to as a hooped crinoline in the US.
Your artwork is amazing. Have you ever had it showcased in the U.K.?

WHO\'S SPEAKING?
Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:
What a laugh. My friend from Italy says when the phone rings in her house her elderly mother picks it up and doesn\'t say anything. This frustrates the person on the other end. Her daughter asked her why she did this and she said \"crank calls.\" If they don\'t know you\'re on the line, they can\'t pull any of their pranks or scams. :-)
Love the India ink and watercolors in your painting

Michael,
In Italy, when we answer the phone we say, “Pronto!”(literal translation—“Ready”!) When I came to America, I once accidentally answered the phone with “Pronto!” The caller said, “For what?!” 😂
Your painting is extraordinary!

Hope you’re doing well.

BOBBLES ON SWEATERS

what an amusing conundrum you have posed for us here in your bobbly wotsit... I personally prefer the noun \'jersey\' which by by definition in English, reads thus...
1. a knitted garment with long sleeves, worn over the upper body.
2. an animal of a breed of light brown dairy cattle from Jersey.
3) Note & disclaimer.. no breed of light brown dairy cattle from said isle was harmed in the making of this comment....
4) A delightful little whimsy sir... and thank you , Neville

Congratulations to the amazing and talented Hugo!
I see the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree! Does he paint, too? The whole family (especially grandpa, Michael) must be so, so proud of your amazing grandson!
I enjoyed the poem very much! I thought it was your write...until I read your comment!
Such an honor for Hugo to have his poem published in an anthology of children’s poetry!
~Laura~
P.S. - Love the painting, grandpa!
