I swear the taller house has a Formica roof.
An old friend passing in the street suddenly threw a five legged octopus at me saying \'here\'s that sick squid i owe you\'.
Did you now that there are more believers in reincarnation upon planet earth than those who believe in a christian \'heaven\'. In fact until 11th century (or was it 9th) reincarnation was a part of christian belief.
I know your piece is a tease but as a believer in the big \'R\' I felt the need to pontificate a bit.
A good fun write which reminded me of a statement made by a certain Mr Tony Blair \'I dont like predictions, I don\'t make them, and I never will\".

I got caught out around this time last year when i\'d had my new car a few days. I put it down to unfamiliarity.
I was offered the choice of points and a fine or a speeding course.
The course turned out to be the second most boring four hours of my life but i was very surprised by how many drivers had no clue of speed restrictions on our roads.
So many drivers appear to regard the highway code as a crib book on how to get a driving licence and then forget its contents.

Well, in high-speed trains, we don\'t realise we may be going 100mph. If on a platform and one whizzes by, we realise how fast it is actually going.
Miss Berles doing 200mph on the motorway?

Well if you will buy these new fangled Austin 7\'s! You will have to be more careful.

Seriously though I was caught speeding and went on a Speed Awareness Course, it was very good and I came away with the opinion that it was so good that everyone should go on one.

Oh lol, a good write and pic Michael. Grey hair or white hair looks distinguished. You distinguished - or extinguished?!
Well, white hair gives a \'head- start\' to playing Santa. I just thought of that pun! Good innit?

SHE SAW THE LIGHT
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

A BUNSEN BURNER in the Belfry ?
Got my Phone & took a SELFRY
What a sight before Evensong
(Please pardon me in my SARONG)
The BUNSEN TUBE was 100 foot long.
Snaking up the TOWER it went
Just like MOSES famed SERPENT
Lest her Choir Robe should get scorched
She now uses a wind up torch.
The moral of this tale is clear
Dont let you BUNSEN BURNER dangle DEAR !

Thanks Michael for a fine DITTY !
Love the model Church my fave so far
Put our names on it BRIAN & ANGELA
Blessing & Love 😎 🧡

Michael,

Nice rhyming and other “things” going on in your bright write! Enjoyed it along with the conversation going on among the three amigos so that your American friends...including this Italian-American...can understand what’s going on! I am learning!😉

Love the sculpture! The only thing I can’t see is the scarred campanologist. I guess I’ll have to use my imagination!

You are so creative. I\'m a great fan of your driftwood street scenes. Do you have these on display around your castle or are you an art dealer too, displaying them in rows of glass cabinets with tempting price tags (in $$$$\'s of course) to attract new world visitors to take home a piece of old Blighty?
