Moonlight in churchyards brings back many memories. Including the one in Nottingham where famously satanic practices were afoot... i knew this place though my activities there were only devilish.
Thanks for the memory jog.
Yep, in the concise poetic picture u paint here, there is certainly ghostly wakefulness.
Super picture of subtle colours.

ANGELA HERE - GOOD EVENING MON ONCLE MICHAEL *Now the day is Over* is an apt title for your abstract Sunset ! We love the POEM ! Poetry is very elusive to define but Yours ........

A thought that transports the mind
Captured before its forgotten

It\'s true. I can think of folk like this. I suppose if we continually seek to see our own light, we just go on an ego trip.
Not that we\'re doormats, rubbishing ourselves, nor letting others rubbish us - but qualities of meekness, lowliness, self-effacement. etc.
Bit deep this - got headache now, this time of morning, thinking that out! I know a person or two - Remarka Berle, and Hum Berle. You know them? And does Hum pong?! lol.

ANGELA HERE - Good Morning Uncle Mike ! Happy New Year 2020 ! Love the ABSTRACT and we have used it (OK ?) in our POEM to illustrate how 2020 looks at the moment - hopefully as the Year unfolds issues (like BREXIT) will resolve themselves. I have acknowledged ME as the source of the PAINTING ~ Thanks in advance for PERMISSION !
Love the sentiments in your POEM but our advice would be : Let us deal with the Serious Stuff - and You stick to the Comedy and make US smile each morning ! One of our RESOLUTIONS ! All our Thoughts & Prayers are with Andy & His Family TODAY !

Blessings & Peace for You & Yours in 2020

HAPPY CHRISTMAS UNCLE MIKE TO YOU & YOURS ~ Angela & I love your posts mainly because ~ they have an unpredictability about them so its a breath of Fresh Air each morning ~ AMEN ! We have a person on our Staff called NOEL and hes always PERE NOEL for our CMas Party for the KIDS of the Staff ! Last Year they built an elobarate Chimney for him to slide down ! Hes in the Engineering Department and he got stuck in the middle ! He nearly suffocated and they had to unscrew the section to get Him ! The Staff & the Kids were souting Encore not realising he could have been stuck in there for ever ! I do play PERE NOEL @ Church but avoid Chimneys even though Im quite SLIM 6\'2\" and under 12 stone ! Playing PERE NOEL is always frought with danger especially because some KIDS pee themselves with excitement ~ say no more ! I always wear a waterproof PERE NOEL outfit ! Thanks for caring & sharing FAB PAINTINGS & PERKY PUNS over 300 times in 2019 ~ You are a Blessing to us ALL ! WE elect YOU *POET & PAINTER of MPS for 2019 !* AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to You & yours in 2020 !

HI UNCLE MIKE ~ Brian here - Angela @ Work !
Love the Abstract Snow Scene

ONLY the LONELY ~ For them CHRISTMAS
Is NO FUN ~ It always reminds them of lost
Loved Ones and Christmas* Past. Thank
GOD for FAMILY @ Christmas Time !

Thanks for caring & Sharing. We support the local Salvation Army (financially) who provide CMAS DINNER for the Lonely & Needy & Homeless but they are overbooked this Year so they may run one on Boxing Day ? On of our Pastors suggested that next we could share with the SA and host CMAS DINNER for about 50 (it would need 12 Volunteers) in our Church Hall. None of our Congregation will be alone on CHRISTMAS DAY or New Years Eve ~ AMEN
