I deplore precociousness but I do enjoy the Spelling Program ~ especially when they get it wrong and get berated by PUSHY PARENTS ! Then there are Coloquial Words as in BURNS and the Cornish Dialect Poem ~ FAY shared a few weeks ago (with Glossary !) A scoucer has every right to introduce SCUFFER (Policeman) into a Poem ~ Good Rhyming Word ~ but there should be a note of explanation to educate those who live SOUTH of BRUM !

Love the COTTAGE Im hoping BRIAN will buy one like that for when we are married ! In your elegant POEM you use the word FORM twice ! BRIAN has been teaching me that a PROPER POEM must have FORM & FUNCTION (as distinct from MODERN POETRY which lacks both !). BRIAN HE SAY *A Proper Poem must have Something to say (Subject & Title) and say it in a Poetic Form (Structure) ! Brian & I try to stick to that MANTRA but (Because we are Encourgers) we dont castigate those who DONT. Brian & I were taught Poetry & Literature @ School ! 20 years on (the Cultural Paucity of the 21st C) the emphasis on EXCELLENCE has dissappeared !
