Scouse humour I guess ! At least (as you say) S*O* would not run in our mouths ~ BUT one would have to stand on ones head to blow into ones hanky ~ and picking ones Nose would defy GRAVITY !

Thanks for sharing UNCLE MIKE ~ methinks the implication is *Fit for Purpose !* I love stringed instruments and (as I speak) I have hanging on my lounge walls ~ Guitar (Gibson Kalamazoo) ~ Violin & Bow (from Grandfather) ~ Mandolin ~ Lute and Banjo. I play the Guitar (Hofner steel acoustic) & Spanish (gut strung acoustic). Like people who adorn their walls with clocks ~ consequently they are kept tuned (to my keyboard) and FIT FOR PURPOSE. If competant Friends call we can have a wee session because my Instruments are all *FIT AS A FIDDLE* ~ AMEN !
