I do, I do Fay - Years ago when very young I found a stone amazingly similar in size shape and composition - Nature\'s forces which formed it (volcanic, time, that which shaped and polished) all spoke to me through that stone. Almost a mystical experience, I think.

Such a wonderful piece dear friend. Your pebble lies in wait for just the right person to come along and notice it for its simple beauty. I agree, those are often the greatest treasures. I collect fallen feathers on my morning walks and tuck them away, sealed in plastic. They are oh so precious. Thank you for sharing this delight!

(\'shared Nectar\', striking symbolism
for those choosing to share their life, wholeheartedly
and their choices yielding rewards of youthful zeal...)
what a lovely sentiment to word so relatable, dear Fay
thank you!

all it takes is a few well-chosen and strategically placed words on an otherwise empty page .. like these & one can be transported anywhere with whomsoever and imagine almost anything .. Neville .. x

That is the kind of memory worth careful storage for recall, Fay. The size of your write reflects a memory\'s quality.
The candle is already melting in your carefully selected picture...

You have weaved words like a beautiful tapestry, each strategically placed to form this poem. And what better subject than a rainbow. Every time I unexpectedly see one, it takes my breath away. Thank you for this lovely piece!

To balance the investment in love does indeed require diligence. The careful investor will reap, as you say, the sweet dividends. I love this analogy and your beautiful phrasing. A lovely poem dear friend!

I\'ve a slight problem, though Fido will allow me \'love\' but not anything \'hot\'! He\'s a pest sometimes! lol.

Beautiful!
and such elegance in your eloquence dear Fay
your line:
\'Welcome the price paid for a higher than
normal percentage love requests.\'
reminds me of Bukowski:
\'“beware the average man the average woman. beware their love, their love is average. seeks average.\"
(I feel this is a lesson long lost to much wiser generations: as in
we do not quest for greatness
for its power or rewards
it is so our everyday can be graced
by something more meaningful
than repetitive routines and chores
something
like a love, worth anticipating
and dreaming of
and aspiring towards in each
budding chemistry we\'re gifted
as opportunity
clinging-on to the hope, this time
it will be \'the one\'
as many romcom reruns and tear-stained ice cream tubs
it may take!)
lol

Only you could produce such an atmospheric piece surrounding a piece of oceanic debris, Fay. Simultaneously I was on that beach with you.
I enjoyed the stroll.

I love the way this reflection on such a simple sight becomes a work of art. You take the detritus washed up on the sand, and through carefully chosen words give it an ethereal beauty. What a gift you have, it is truly a fav!
