Thanks for sharing FAY. Left to their own devices all of Nature survives in an equilibrium of Natural cycles ~ chains and webs. Things only go wrong and species become extinct when Man ceases to operate as part of the Natural System and become technologically abusive and obtrusive ! Thanks for caring.

Freedom has its disadvantages. Given the choice of a cage or the wild land I know the animals of prey would vote for freedom. Only man would choose to put them there, messing with what is real and true. Nicely done

I was with it all the way painting pictures in my mind - superb as always Fay. So looking forward to when the lychnis and campion grace our countryside once again. Although I see in the garden already I have polyanthas, crocus, snowdrops and hellebores blooming their little hearts out.

YES INDEED FAY ~ For many retried people (who live alone) in our Church Circle it is their DOG that keeps them sane. This especially true if their Children & Grandchildren live far away. We have to remember that DOG spells GOD in a Mirror ! I have never owned a DOG (my Mum always had CATS) but I sense that DOGS have a special empathy with their owners ~ which is beautiful to see ! Lovely poem ~ thanks for sharing. Great picture love the significance of the brolly over the DOG not his OWNER !

The girl seems to be very mature, while the young man is still immature, but her prodding won him over. Did I get it right? This is quite descriptive with a nuance for the, as Brian says, coquettishness.

Thanks you FAY for this very profound Poem. It reminds us of the key role played by JESUS (The Word) in Creation. \"All things were made by HIM and without HIM nothing was made ! You mention the Flora and the Fauna and the 92 Natural Elements (Hydrogen to Uranium) and Man and Music etc. etc. An excellent tribute to the WORD ~ Glorious and replete with Grace & Truth ~ AMEN.
