Thanks you FAY for this very profound Poem. It reminds us of the key role played by JESUS (The Word) in Creation. \"All things were made by HIM and without HIM nothing was made ! You mention the Flora and the Fauna and the 92 Natural Elements (Hydrogen to Uranium) and Man and Music etc. etc. An excellent tribute to the WORD ~ Glorious and replete with Grace & Truth ~ AMEN.

BEAUTIFUL FAY ~ In the CITY Morning Bird Songs often get drowned out by the TV (we must listen to the NEWS !) and noisy road traffic. BUT ~ in the Country and Quiet Towns ~ Morning Bird Songs do prevail and remind us that we are still part of Nature ~ and yes they do sooth us and bring us back down to Earth ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ BRIAN

Fay, your poetic metaphors and your unique style of composition, took me back to my student days a span of some 53 years, making me recall the poems of GM Hopkins, a devout Catholic & a Victorian poet; and his poems \'The Windhover\', & \'Pied Beauty\'. Your poem has reached that Classical stage I must admit! Thanks, - Raj, New Delhi.

Thanks FAY ~ I love your poem because you highlight one of the many properties and beauties of water ~ its ability and propensity to form drops. The majority of liquids do not do this ~ petrol for instance. The reason water does is because of its molecular structure and surface tension ~ which also explains why we can blow bubbles ~ why sap rises in plants and why solid water (ice) floats in liquid water ! Water drops on a cobweb are so like jewels. Also because water drops act like prisms each one contains its own rainbow. A scientific understanding of the nature of water drops ~ for me ~ does not lessen the wonder but only increases it. Thanks for causing us all to think !
