D\'you know... I was just cutting my toenails this morning ready for new year when by happenchance i began to contemplate my navel (my slang for weighing up my life). However a bout of flatulence soon put an end to that and to clear the air I headed for the kitchen for to raise a cuppa.
Mid cuppa i was navel bound again having hovvered over your poem. Trying to discover why I am a positive thinker, why i feel fortunate, how difficult would it be to look at my existence in a more negative, unfortunate light. Strange thoughts.... something innate, which i can\'t change from within, powers the light which guides me. Maybe it\'s a light from my ever present guardian angel who reassures me of their company no matter what.... i know someone/something is giving me unconditional love..... even if it\'s just the all encompassing universe of which I am an integral part.

Where your poetry will take my poetic thoughts is priceless.

LOL been there, done that... got a return ticket too.... meanwhile.... shall we dance.

Yes i love it when my muse takes me to the wonderland of fantasy. From my hand has flowed some of the pieces which really give me satisfaction. Oh to read them to the grandchildren.

Your invitation to indulge is, I hope, going to be taken up by our friends the mps poets and we shall see wonderland in all its glorious forms from creative minds...... well I can live in hope I suppose.

Great writing Fay.

Somehow you took me back to childhood christmas and winter scenes of white and cold when wrapped up warm and weatherproof six year old me and my three older siblings were allowed to tramp the streets of London suburbs at night, unescourted, to sing carols at anonymous doors for donations to our cash horde. Scant but fond memories. And winter 1963, was that before or after christmas, or both when everywhere was deep white... nearly sixty years passing has given memories the blur of convenience, we can make of them what we will.

Your poetry today is another fine example of Fay\'s fingertips painting a scene from natures tapestry. Such poetry is not just enjoyable to read but a delight. One for my favourites.

Overall I felt the warm cosyness of this poem Fay. You bring out the romance of village life which rests in our psyche which probably has little to do with reality but its a picture many of us carry. As evening comes on so to relax and in a place, your village, where life takes on a quite relaxed pace compared to our techno/business reality.

Yes a very interesting and entertaining relaxing read from your skilled hand.

Great poem. Yes, the animals don\'t know it\'s Christmas, and the farmer\'s day probably stays the same.
Mind you, after two days off, we\'re all running around the fields.
