You bring to life the energy of a country stream here. A life so beautiful yet so easily overlooked. The undemanding calmness of a streamside allows us to wonder at the magnificence of nature where the richness of life gathers to drink of the bounty slipping by over polished stones of ages past.

A fine write Fay. I say the same of Fido, though he does not exist! He is not friendly when poets do not mark poems 18+ though. lol.
How could anyone not like her?!
So much animal cruelty in the world. Yet so much - more we hope - animal kindness.

Gorgeous looking lil dawg you have there (what breed is she?).

From your words today one might get the impression you two are quite attached..... but isn\'t it marvellous how a dawg can co-exist quite contented with us and obviously really enjoy our company and vice-versa. Yep, I love \'em.

A lifetime captured & held fast now for all of time left .. a magnificent & most accurate depiction I fear ..

between just you & me .. I do believe I was there maybe .. Passchendaele that is .. and that portrait up there is far too familiar by half ...
not surprisingly then, I have a lump in my throat the size of a greengage .......................... N x

Very emotive Dear Fay
A distraught scene built in my mind
An estranged lady passed in my memories beside
I remembered my school nurse
She was a very kind lady. Held so many griefs yet she never cried. I don’t know why but your poetry made my memories revive.
Thanks a lot daer Fay for sharing this.

these words remind me of love, in the eyes of teen angst
when we tried to stay up, talking all night
wake-up with our mobiles
plastered to our cheeks or necks
and whisper
a tentative spluttering, \'hello\'
then feel our face
heating crimson
at the sweet voice responding
\'finally, thought you\'d never get up\'..
(before we have our latest
mini break-up, over who
was snoring loudest... lol)
a wonderful scene you\'ve weaved in ink, dear Fay
thanks for sharing

Cor blimey missus its them saucy dreams of yours again making me spill my cuppa.
\"bliss drips on surrender and nectar infiltrates\" ... lovely words and then waking slowly robs you of the dreams reality..... grrrrr why do we have to awaken sometimes.... it would be blissful just to hovver in dreamland... but then..... who would tend the vegetable patch and pay the council tax..... call me killjoy.

So this beautiful dream of yours (and I know how beautiful such dreams can be) do you think he knows you dream of him..... do you think it\'s reciprocated..... such ideas are the fun of daydreams.
