Ah, the moment of creation. Always wondered how it began. And what a soup it turned out to be.
Well done, Frank!

Wonderful evocative Poem FRANK ~ thanks for stirring. It struck a ladle with me because every Saturday Morning I make a cauldron of Veggie Soup with whatever veggies I have to hand plus stock ~ herbs and seasoning ! I decant into individual containers and freeze for use in the week and to share with ANGELA (and other visitors) with crusty bread and a glass of Rioja Tinta ~ For me SOUP is the elixir of life and aways my chosen starter in any restaurant ~ I often ask for (and obtain) the recipe ! Yours BRIAN. Please check my AROMATHERAPY Poem and \"Send Flowers\" FUSION ~ Thanks B.

I do like the way you write, the way you structure your poems. In this case, I guess it depends on whether he was north or south of the equator!

Recently, someone wrote on here that love is \"soundless,\" now here in this poem we see the extent to which love can reach. From one mountain top to another, across endless miles, with but a single word, lovers can connect. A beautiful poem, Frank, presented in a unique style, with interesting metaphors, \"the speech of a small fire,\" \" he threw his voice, single-handed,.\" Loved every unspoken moment of it. - Phil A.

\'The kindness of strangers\' ... I adore the theme, Frank. Beautifully portrayed in this heart touching write. Wouldn\'t it be nice if ... oh well, maybe some day.

Frank, this poem is just great. I stopped at the end with a \'what just happened?\' kind of thought in my head. There is a much deeper meaning here, and you can be sure I will eventually get it.

Sounds like you outed a star person disguised as a human. Lot of them around these strange days. Enjoyable poem, Frank!

Amazing how the norm of days past, which we took for granted, evolves. This poem states it well, Frank. Well done!

Thanks for reminding us Frank ~ just how pampered we are today ! I was born in 1983 ~ so I have always enjoyed Hotel Standard ~ Bathrooms with showers and H & C on tap ! At Home and now in my own Flat. We might be \"richer\" but when I look at my Grandparents ~ we are no happier ! It\'s not what we possess that brings happiness ~ It is our state of Mind and our day-by-day relationships with our Family Friends & Neighbours and with our Creator GOD ~ AMEN ~ Yours BRIAN Please check my tribute to Angela on a Beach ~ thanks BRIAN

Good write Frank. An outside loo too? As on a comedy show: \'But you just had a bath in January, and now it\'s June!\' heehee.

Yes this brings back memories including a 2 mile walk to school across fields and through woods - something that simply wouldn\'t happen today as we are so aware of the dangers for young children - but back then it was the norm.

Great poem about the \'good old days\', Frank! As a kid in Switzerland, we only had a bath once a week. Cleaned my feet the same way as you!
