Let us all of a certain age hope we shall see the next birthday without the threat of covid 19 or similar hanging over us and our loved ones.
How much we miss life\'s simplest of pleasures when our movements and mingling are under restriction.

We dunno how old we are, you and I. We were around in 1066, so that makes us age...........?
See you in Hastings soon?!

I love the way you are managing your life - I only hope I will be as strong if Jeanne doesn\'t respond to treatment. Don\'t even want to think about it.

Once more we see the positive love of life you exhibit Goldfinch whilst airing your feelings of loss. Thank goodness you have your faith to light that path as you venture ever forward. Continuing along the journey of understanding and acceptance of all the meanings of love and awareness.

Thankfully her recordings live on - I often listen to her when driving but so distracting - I recently ended with a speeding ticket. Must have been helped along by those southerly winds.

Dearer or more beautiful to Me
Or more sweet !
The tender & lovely Fronds
Of my Plane Tree so so beloved !
My Tree let Fate smile on You
My Thunder & Lightning & Storms
Never disturb Your Peacefulness
And may you never be profaned .......

Andy,

I enjoyed listening to Kathleen Ferrier’s rendition of ‘Ombra mai fù’.

Word painting at its best.

‘Per voi risplenda il fato’...
Let fate shine for you,
dear Andy.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Did it start with the football and work it\'s way out......... or did it start with outside and work it\'s way into football....... seems like cheating is becoming the norm........ but Trump just got Coronovirus and this may be the turn around we\'ve been waiting for............(Oh don\'t be silly he\'ll get away with this too).........

Or Ken Dodd paying his taxes, when he was here? Of course he sang \'Happiness\' while laughing at the taxman! Doh!
Yes, it\'s tiresome. They are overpaid drama queens. Rugby can be rough, but more sporting it seems.
Well, a blessing in disguise. Some Football Clubs are suffering financially. We wouldn\'t wish misery on many, but they get paid too much anyway. I don\'t mean minor leagues, or genuine \'friendlies\'.

Footie has been spoiled by all that dirty play..... and it rubs off on society too ..... watching a player who earns hundreds of thousands cheating can give youngsters the cheating ethos...
IF I HAD MY WAY.... i\'d send off every fouling player until the fekkers learned not to cheat.
